  • Outlook 2007 - slow loading messages

    Outlook 2007 is slow to load messages...Why is this, and what can I do to speed it up? Currently have about 850 messages in the Inbox folder, and the preview pane turned off, thus I view messages by double-clicking. This is where it gets slow, when I double click, it brings up a new window with everything but the actual message loaded, which then takes several more seconds to appear. Solutions? Thanks! (running Windows 7)

  • How do you define your own shortcuts in Outlook 2007

    In previous versions of Outlook it was possbile to write some VBA and assign a shortcut to do this. I can't see how to do this in 2007, if indeed it is possbile.     I have added some advanced properties into my Microsoft Word 2007 document. These were created by doing the following: Click the Office button - Prepare - Properties. Under the Document Properties drop-down menu, select Advanced Properties. In the Custom tab, add properties as needed. My question is how do you insert these custom properties into the Word document so that they are in text form and gets updated when you update the properties in that one spot? Thank you!

    When doing an alignment in Powerpoint 2007 (say, Align Center), is there any way to select which object will be aligned to? It seems to pick one of the objects, but I'm not sure how it decides which one to pick and how to change it. Order of selection and front/back ordering seems to have no effect. Anyone have any ideas?

    For the last few days, Outlook 2007 has been displaying the new mail icon every once in a while throughout the day when I actually did not have any new mail. To get rid of this icon, as soon as I double click any email that I had already read, the icon goes away. Has anyone else seen something like this before?

  • ICS attachments disappear after migrating to exchange 2007

    We currently have a small c# script that pulls a calendar appointment from Siebel OnDemand and mails it out to our users using smtp. This all worked before we migrated some users to Exchange 2007 this weekend. Now the .ics calendar file doesn't show up for those that have been migrated but still show up for those who haven't. The Exchange team says there isn't a problem with our servers. Has anyone seen this type of problem? Any solutions?

  • Secure email crashes Outlook 2007

    I have a number of secure emails sent to my Outlook 2007 client. Most arrive fine and display the prompt with regards to granting access to the certificate and then open. Today I received two that crash Outlook whenever I try to open them. I've tried restarting Outlook and my computer but still have the same problem. Any ideas what might be causing this, and how I can fix it? I'm working on Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit.

  • Error in Word 2007 page setup

    I am not sure what the issue may be, but I am getting a weird error in Word 2007 (running on Win7 pro x86). When I click the page setup button (or try and chnage one of the page formatiing button like orientation) the program stops responding and crashes on me. This is really getting annoying.     In Excel 2007, if I go to Office button - Prepare - Properties instead of showing document properties, I get a message "The Document Information Panel was unable to load." I have come across a number of posts suggesting I copy ipedintl.dll from C:\Program Files\Microsoft Web Designer Tools\Office12\1033 to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\1033, however I have tried this, and the problem is still occurring. Does anyone have any other ideas of what this might be? Thanks.

Do outlook have a special configuration, does someone knows why i cant redirect my undelivered mails ?     Hi Guys, I have an email that requires the use text inside of HTML PRE tags in the message source. When viewing this message, I've noticed that Outlook 2003 will NOT word wrap this text but Outlook 2007 will. What is the correct and expected behavior? Is there a way to force Outlook 2003 to wordwrap the text even though it's inside a PRE tag? Thanks, M
