  I have got IIS7 running on my Windows 2008 Server It works perfectly working for the sites and the folder that I hosted before. Now I am trying to host a folder which contains two subfolder(the subfolders contain some images). I have correctly set the IIS_IUSRS permissions on the site folder. • Unable to launch the asp.net development server because port '80' is in use

  I need to use port 80 for my development server. Before i restart pc, it's still working fine. After that, it pop up the port 80 is in use. The development server able to run if i changed to other port. I've checked using netstat -ano, no program is using it (my iis is using other port and my skype is not using port 80 as well). I also test with telnet localhost 80, it didnt show any failure message, just the screen goes blank...I'm using win xp. Is my visual studio has problem?

  Hello I am needing to deploy a project using DevExpress controls to an IIS 6.0 server. The project loads fine and until I add in the DevExpress controls. When trying to load the site I get the error Could not load file or assembly 'DevExpress.Web.v9.3, Version=9.3.4.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b88d1754d700e49a' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified What am I doing wrong? I've tried installing the controls on the server and also just copying all of the assembly dlls to the bin/ folder of the application but I can not get this error to go away. How do I get it to work?

Any help would be appreciated.

• ERROR: Could not contact the SSO server

  Hi, I'm getting the following error on my dev machine when attempting to manage SSO settings: ERROR: 0xC0002A0F : Could not contact the SSO server 'SSODB'. Check that SSO is configured and that the SSO service is running on that server. The Enterprise Single Sign-On Service, RPC service, and COM+ System Application service were all started when I checked, but I gave them a restart anyway and it didn't fix the problem. I can access the SSODB through SSMS. I unconfigured SSO through BizTalk and reconfigured it (successfully). Alas, this also did not help. SSO was previously working fine. I did notice this morning upon reboot that my browser home page was reset back to our corporate site (meaning something may have been pushed to machine this morning when I signed on) but no one else on my team is experiencing the same issues. I'm not sure what to try next. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!

• Installing .NET 3.5 SP1 on server broke WCF

  I installed .NET 3.5 SP1 on server which previously had .NET 3.0 SP2. Before install site was working perfectly. After install and subsequeny server restart, site displays but anything that makes use of the WCF service has stopped working. The exception log reports exceptions like the following when any calls are made to the client proxy: The communication object, System.ServiceModel.Channels.ServiceChannel, cannot be used for communication because it is in the Faulted state. The server's application event log gave the following errors after the install: Configuration section system.serviceModel.activation already exists in c:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Config\machine.config. Configuration section system.runtime.serialization already exists in c:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Config\machine.config. Configuration section system.serviceModel already exists in c:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Config\machine.config. which seems to be inline with the fact that anything WCF related has stopped working. I am not experienced in server configurations or WCF so looking for any assistance with this. Thanks!! • Websocket TLS Node Server and wss://

  I'm looking to start using javascript on the server, most likely with node.js, as well as use websockets to communicate with clients. However, there doesn't seem to be a lot of information about encrypted websocket communication using TLS and the wss:// handler. In fact the only server that I've seen explicitly support wss:// is Kaazing. This TODO is the only reference I've been able to find in the various node implementations. Am I missing something or are the websocket js servers not ready for encrypted communication yet? Another option could be using something like lighttpd or apache to proxy to a node listener, has anyone had success there?

What sort of things do I need to be looking for in order to get this time down? Thanks!

  I'm starting with an address for an Exchange 2007 server: [email protected] And I attempted to send an autodiscover request, as documented at MSDN. I attempted to use the generic autodiscover address documented at the TechNet White Paper. So, using curl on PHP, I sent the following request: <Autodiscover xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/exchange/autodiscover/outlook/requestschema/2006"> <Request> <EMailAddress>[email protected]</EMailAddress> <AcceptableResponseSchema> http://schemas.microsoft.com/exchange/autodiscover/outlook/responseschema/2006a </AcceptableResponseSchema> </Request> </Autodiscover> to the following URL: https://domain.exchangeserver.org/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml But got no response, just an eventual timeout. I also tried: https://autodiscover.domain.exchangeserver.org/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml With the same result. Now, since my larger goal is to use Autodiscover with Exchange Web Services, and since all of the EWS URLs start with the same sub-domain as the Outlook Web Access address, I thought I'd give that a try: OWA: https://wmail.domain.exchangeserver.org So I tried: https://wmail.domain.exchangeserver.org/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml And sure enough, I got back the expected response. However, I only knew the OWA sub-domain because it's the server I have access to and that I'm using to test everything. I would not know it for sure or be able to guess it if this were a live app and the user was entering in their own Exchange email. I know that whatever generic autodiscover settings must be turned on, because I can enter: [email protected] into Apple Mail on Snow Leopard and it finds everything without trouble. So the question is... Should https://domain.exchangeserver.org/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml have worked, and I just missed a step when trying to connect to it? Or, Is there some trick (maybe involving pinging the email address?) that Apple Mail and other clients use to resolve the address to the OWA subdomain before sending the autodiscover request? The reason why I ask this is because I understand that some of the codes are executed by the browser such as Javascript. Now I really don't know what specifying a proxy server address might have to do with absolute or relative URIs. The use of the proxy server or not is the only difference I can see when running the client on the production or on the development machine. I have set up nginx on another server to mirror/cache files being requested if it doesn't have it already, in particular images and flv videos. For example: www.domain.com is my main site. www.domain.com/video/video.flv www.domain.com/images/1.png I would like to ask apache to redirect it to imgserv.domain.com (imgserv.domain.com points to another server IP) imgserv.domain.com/video/video.flv imgserv.domain.com/images/1.png Basically redirect everything with certain filetypes and preserving the structure of the URL, like flv etc. I tried something but I am getting a redirect looping error. Could someone help me out? Thank you!

  First of all please excuse my lack of knowledge, I'm new to Tortoise, and my bad English. My problem is that every time I do some operation with an URL like the following one: https://nttt.dttt.com:8443/svn/nttt/Med/trunk I get "Server sent unexpected return value (403 Forbidden) in response to OPTIONS". The user and password I supplied was correct, so no problem there. I don't know where the problem lies, I don't know if it is the server(on witch I don't have any control) or my Tortoise client.   I have seen a few suggestions on making emacs portable (on Windows). I have this in my site-start.el: (defvar program-dir (substring data-directory 0 -4)) (setq inhibit-startup-message t) (setenv "HOME" program-dir) I changed the HOME variable so that not only my .emacs init files (and other init files) are read, but everything generated by emacs will stay in the program directory, not needing me to specify the path for everything one by one. Well this works well but the emacs server is not working; I get error message "no connection could be made because target machine actively refused it." If I don't change my HOME var then emacs server works. Is there way to fix this?

That is fine. But when i call recv(), i suddently becomes 0. Why is that? It doesn't make sense to me why recv() would take an socket file descriptor number and modify to another number. Is that normal? Am I missing something? • Printing PDFs Server-side using Acrobat Reader from ASP.NET

  Hi, I have been presented with a problem which requires me to print PDF files from a server as part of an ASP.NET web service. The problem is further complicated by the fact that the PDF files I have to print can ONLY be printed using Adobe Reader (they were created using Adobe LiveCycle and have some strange protection in them). This piece of code seems to do the trick in the Visual Studio development web server, but doesn't do anything when the site's running in IIS. I'm assuming this is probably some sort of permissions issue!? I know this is a FAR from ideal thing to be trying to do, but I haven't really got much choice! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! • Tomcat server (from XAMPP package) CANNOT BE started from Eclipse

  I am using Windows 7. I installed Eclipse and updated to include WPT. HTTP Server and Tomcat are installed with XAMPP Package. They run properly and they can be accessed via localhost. But I found that tomcat server CANNOT BE STARTED. • php includes that include another php file

  I'm getting really muddled up now and my brain hurts! :( lol Root: index.php Includes: cat.php dog.php index includes dog: include("includes/dog.php"); dog includes cat: include("cat.php"); When I run index, for cat it says: A link to the server could not be established Access denied for user ... However, if I run dog, I get no problems... I'm guessing its the path, but i've tried ./includes/cat.php to no joy...
