  I have a multi-module project. parent POM (1.0-SNAPSHOT) |-- module1 (1.0-SNAPSHOT) |-- module2 (1.0-SNAPSHOT) `-- module3 (1.0-SNAPSHOT) When I execute mvn release:prepare it verify that parent POM has a SNAPSHOT version and all dependent modules don't have a SNAPSHOT version.   <Binary Id="binUpdate" SourceFile="c:\xxx\Update.exe"/> <CustomAction Id="Update" BinaryKey="binUpdate" Execute="deferred" ExeCommand="c:\xxx" /> When I build a Wix project with the above custom action, it complains that "The system cannot find the file 'C:\xxx\Update.exe". This update.exe is deployed by the same msi. So, how do I make Wix to ignore the fact that the file does not exist on my build machine? Thanks in advance

  Hi I have a site that uses flex and calls controller actions which returns json to the flex. This works fine in a dev server , the folder that has the flex app lives inside the web project and in the dev ennvironment, makes calls hostname, ie www.someurl.com in the actual live scenario, this will be an intranet so not hostname to call, the flex app seems to have trouble calling http://localhost/Virtual directory name it seems to totally miss the virtual directory name. I am obviously missing something basic, any help?

  I know it's possible to deploy earlier versions of the .NET framework using AD deployment, for example: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc160717.aspx. How do it do this for .NET 4? I tried unpacking the standalone .NET 4 installer and deploying the netfx_Extended_x86.msi package. This didn't work. After a reboot the event log shows that it tried but it failed to install with a message saying to run setup.exe.

  I know NAnt sees frequent use (well, I always use it for my CI builds) but there has been no new official release since December 2007. Is the project receiving active development any more or is it dead-pooled? It worries me that if I carry on using it, and it stops tracking the latest version of .NET, I'll eventually be left with a massive job when it comes to upgrading systems to a version of the framework that it can't build.   I was wondering if it's possible to have a java package setup using a different subversion repository than the rest. Ideally, I would probably go with a different library project, but in the case of BlackBerry, the 3rd party library linking does not work well, so I would like to just separate my UI package into a different repository than the rest so that I can control the UI better for different OS versions, but leave all the other packages the same.
