  • C++: Comparing list of doubles with some invalid values (QNAN)

    Hello, i need to compare two std::list < double , but some doubles may be invalid numbers (QNAN). If any invalid numbers are list entries the compare process won't work, because a comparison of the same invalid value will always result in 'false'. What is the easiest and most elegant way to solve the problem? My idea was to create copies of both lists, iterate through them and remove invalid values and then compare the remaining lists. The lists will typically have 20-50 values in them. Is there a more resource friendly way to solve it?

  • No item exist at http://<servername>....Item may have been deleted ......

    I have a data view webpart of some other list on my Dispform.aspx page. I have added edit and create new links in it. Create new item link is workin fine but when I m clicking on edit, its showing me error: No item exist at http:....listname/Dispform.aspx?ID=1&Source=http://...listname/Allitems.aspx. It may have been deleted or renamed by other user. I found this post related to it. http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepointcustomization/thread/e368d7c7-8878-4f74-a62b-9ebad50c6b9a But now in my case the problem is I don't wanna customize Allitems.aspx, and what I have understood in the above post guys have suggested that to change the query string.I can only customize DispForm.aspx. Now the query string which is passing by default is ID=@ID from Allitems.aspx to DispForm.aspx...and I have to use this ID query string variable in my parameter if I m passing it on to the next page. Anyone knows how to fix this? Thanks in advance,

  • Copying web part pages within SharePoint

    Hi, I'm trying to copy some web part pages (aspx) from one library into another. Reason is that I've got sites which are created dynamiccally. I also want to add some content (based on several rules) to those sites, which include aspx web part pages. The deployment works fine, but the web part pages are empty in the target site. As I've read in several blog posts, this has something to do with the ghosting of the files. Is there a way to literally copy all of the content in the ASPX to the site? The webparts aren't site or feature dependant, so the pages should work on every site. When I copy the pages with SPD, it works fine, but I don't understand how SPD does this.

Here userProf object has value. userprof["OptOut"].Value is null How to handle this?

    Hello, I have a list of objects say, List. The Entity class has an equals method,on few attributes ( business rule ) to differentiate one Entity object from the other. The task that we usually carry out on this list is to remove all the duplicates something like this : List<Entity> noDuplicates = new ArrayList<Entity>(); for(Entity entity: lstEntities) { int indexOf = noDuplicates.indexOf(entity); if(indexOf >= 0 ) { noDuplicates.get(indexOf).merge(entity); } else { noDuplicates.add(entity); } } Now, the problem that I have been observing is that this part of the code, is slowing down considerably as soon as the list has objects more than 10000.I understand arraylist is doing a o(N) search. Is there a faster alternative, using HashMap is not an option, because the entity's uniqueness is built upon 4 of its attributes together, it would be tedious to put in the key itself into the map ? will sorted set help in faster querying ?     I have got a simple question, but the answer is hard to find. I want to put a contentquery webpart with a custom xslt on my page, but it has to render extra links if the page is opened in edit-mode. So, if (SPContext.Current.FormContext.FormMode == SPControlMode.Display) : show some extra links near the items in the xslt. How can I achieve this? I have already overridden the default ContentByQueryWebPart, is that the way? Thanks in advance.

    hi friends, I m making an application which requires me to list all the images available on the SD-Card of the phone. i tried querying the ContentResolver way i.e. Cursor image = getContentResolver().query(Images.Media.EXTERNAL_CONTENT_URI, new String[]{Images.Media._ID,Images.Media.DATA,Images.Media.DISPLAY_NAME}, null, null, null); but without any result. Is there any way i can get the list or if thats not possible then is there any possible intent (e.g. PICK) by which i can allow the user to select a file and then access the path of the file the user selected?? Added a new database for the website.   • Getting values from datagrid view column to list<>

    My main form in my application has a datagrid view that can have 1 to many user selected inputs. Column 8 of this grid is for the user to input "time in minutes." I have a separate class where I have built a timer that counts down from whatever time the user specifies down to 0. What I need is to create a series of alarms that go off as the timer counts down that are triggered by the user input values in column 8 of my datagrid. I think the best way to do this is to build a list< from the values in the datagrid. I for whatever reason can't quite figure out how to get the values from the datagrid in to a list< in my other class. Hopefully I explained in a way that makes sense.
