I'm getting the below error message while trying to browse to a local share on a Windows Server 2003 machine:

Windows cannot find ### this file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an Association in the folder options control panel

The server is on the network, has an assigned IP address, can access the internet and is otherwise functioning normally.

I realise this message can occur when opening a document or file which has no application associated with it, but I'm trying to access a share. What's going on here?
