What is the best keyboard / mouse to use for a computer dedicated to the TV?

I have just dedicated a computer to my living room TV, to watch Hulu, movies, etc. You can think of it as a Media Center TV but I hardly use Media Center itself.

I'm looking for a good keyboard / mouse combo that is well suited for this environment. Something that has long range as well.
