How much game dev does $x amount of money get you?

How much a game costs to make gets asked often and is always answered with it depends or varies on the quality of the game.

Well this is basically the same question but is a bit more precise. I'm wonder what quality of game you can make with varying degrees of funds. Lets say 500k, 1m, 2m, 5m, 10m, 15m, and 20m. Let's assume you don't do any of it yourself and it only covers development only... no advertising or manufacturing.
