  • Bind Config section to DataTable using c#

    I have the following config section in my app.config file and the code to iterate through config section to retrieve the values. But i want to save the values of config section to a datatable in a proper structure. How ?   • Dynamic IMAP/Pop3 Email Address Creation

    I have a requirement in my project to create dynamic email address on the fly. For example, similar to flickr has the option of uploading photos (or blogger.com has an option of rececing blog posts in predefined email addresses). The email address can be like "[email protected]", once this email address is created what ever the incoming mails will be processed based on certain scenarios. My questions are: What are the solutions available for having our own IMAP/POP3 Server in Windows? Exchange is not an option though, any commercial softwares will do. Is there any way we can have one real email box and that will be masked with alphanumeric email addresss to minimize the creation of email addresses.

  • SQL query root parent child records

    Hi, We have nested folders with parent-child relationship. We use MySQL MyISAM DB. The data is stored in the DB in the following manner. Every time a child folder is created in the nested structure, the previous parentID is added. I want to get the RootFolderID of a folder which is added in the hierarchy as tabulated below. FoldID ParentID |RootFolderID -----------------|------------------- 1 0 | 0 2 1 | 1 3 2 | 1 4 3 | 1 5 4 | 1 Please let me know how to get the root folderID and populate it in the RootFolderID column after a folder is created each time.   • Suppress EXT3-fs warning on mount

    I am familiar with output suppress on Unix machines, ie: cat /file/that/doesnt/exist > /dev/null 2>& However I can't seem to suppress the output of mount when an ext3 filesystem is mounted for the nth time, and it recommends an fsck. As it happens, fscks are run regularly by another machine, so these warning messages are needlessly interrupting the flow of output to my pretty bash script. These are the errors: # mount -t ext3 /dev/sda1 /mnt > /dev/null 2>& kjournald starting. Commit interval 5 seconds EXT3-fs warning: maximal mount count reached, running e2fsck is recommended EXT3 FS 2.4-0.9.19, 19 August 2002 on sd(8,1), internal journal EXT3-fs: mounted filesystem with ordered data mode. Can anyone shed some light on this? I'm clearly blocking both fd's, but somehow output is still getting through. This is GNU Bash v2.05a

    Hello! In my database, I have a "users", a "quests" and a "questings" table. A user can solve a quest. Solving a quest will save the "user_id" and the "quest_id" in my "questings" table. Now, I want to select all quests, a user has NOT solved (meaning there is no entry for this user and quest in "questings" table)! Let's say the user has the id 14. How to write this query? After solving this query, I want to filter the results, too. A quest and a user has a city, too. What to do for writing a query which returns all quests, a user has NOT solved yet, in the users city (user city == quest city)?

  • Prevent blank links (having javascript:;) from openening in new tab/window on middle click...?

    There is a common practice of using <a></a> tags to markup beautiful buttons, with onlick and onhover style change, etc. Which looks and behaves great, on most part. Although there turned out to be a HUGE problem, which was not very obvious on start. The problem is that these beautiful "buttons" open new windows on middle click, either blank or with the same content as current one (depends on whether one uses # or javascript:; to disable href part). Now I've got JavaScript RIA with buttons all over it, opening new windows on middle click... Lame... At first I even couldn't understand why I get sometimes those blank pages in the browser. Since it's pretty established practice to use links in such manner, maybe there is any established way to deal with described problem?

  • DLL configuration file in asp.net site

    Hi, I've made a .net 2.0 librabry project, that results in a dll. I've made an app.config file in my project, with settings used in the dll, with the intention that they can be changed later. I'm attempting to use the dll in an asp.net web application now, so I made the reference to my other project's output, and I see that the dll is copied over to the site's bin folder, and everything works. However, the configuration file is not copied. When I manually copy the app.config and rename it to myDll.config, it has no influence.   • how to convert server datetime to client machine datetime for the website.

    I have datetime fieldI have datetime field into the database which stores the universal time i.e. UTC time. I want to show the datetime at the client machine in clients time zone and format. Example: Someone from US updated the database field for a site and it is stored into the UTC format. Someone from India goes and sees the site . What i want is that the person from India sees the time in IST or from Australia sees in his local machines time format not the server time format and zone. Whats the best way to do this ??   • blitting issue when blitting to wxGCDC from a wxMemoryDC

    Hi All, I have loaded a wxBitmap (with transparency .png) in memoryDC now when i am blitting the data from the memoryDc to GCDC that time in transparent part its giving the black color. But if remove the GCDC and use normal ClientDC for display purpose there is no such problem happening, but i cannot remove the wxGCDC because this is only support the transparency in color drawing. Any solution or workaround really helpful. Thanks in advanced

My Problem but now if uncheck the checkbox and change the start date and then recheck the check box, the start date is not copied, Now what should be done in this situation.. please help me....

    I'm running a Magento based website store on Linux/Apache. In order that user logins are maintained, I've set my cookie lifetime to be close to two years. The cookies are sent out with the right times, I can see them in my browsers. When I visit the site from a previously logged-in browser after about a day, the user is logged out. I can still see the cookies, with their extended life, present in the browser. Where should I start looking to get to the bottom of this issue?
