  • preg_match_all to parse an xml-like attribute string

    I have a string like so: option_alpha="value" option_beta="some other value" option_gamma="X" ...etc. I'm using this to parse them into name & value pairs: preg_match_all("/([a-z0-9_]+)\s*=\s*[\"\'](.+?)[\"\']/is", $var_string, $matches) Which works fine, unless it encounters an empty attribute value: option_alpha="value" option_beta="" option_gamma="X" What have I done wrong in my regex?

  • Lighttpd Prepending Strings to Certain Files.

    I have a Mint install (Fantastic stats, if you were wondering) and I would like to move over to Lighttpd for my server needs. Unfortunatly, this means that php_auto_prepend is no longer easily available. I understand that PHP can do this in the php.ini file, but I have areas that can't have this value prepended so that's out of the question. Is there a lighttpd way to prepend my script for my mint install in some files, and have it disabled for others?

  • How to specify which GCC for MacPorts to use?

    I compiled GCC 4.4.3 and installed it in /usr/local/bin, but whenever I install a port via MacPorts 1.8.2 the verbose output says MacPorts is using /usr/bin/gcc-4.2: checking for gcc... /usr/bin/gcc-4.2 How do I make MacPorts find my own GCC 4.4.3? Here is my existing path: /opt/local/bin:/opt/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/local/lib:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/X11/bin Thank you! P.S. I am running Mac OS X 10.6.2 Snow Leopard.

  • NO FBML is working in iframe in facebook using PHP (ie or ff or anywhere else!)

    I have tried for three days now and gotten nowhere on this.... I absolutely can not get any "fb:" code to render anything! I've tried the exact code in the sandbox and it works fine. I've read through every search result I could find and gotten nowhere...   • How can I tell cpan to change the target for the module installation?

    Hello! When I installed perl from the source the first nice surprise was that without doing something all module installed from now on were available to the new perl. Since I didn't find one module on cpan that comes with my OS I have to use for some scripts the onboard-perl. For one of these scripts I would like to install Text::Format or Text::Autoformat (didn't find the docu for that module on cpan). My question: how can I tell cpan to install the module this one time for the OS-distro-perl?

I have been searching the internet high and low but can find some examples that can help me, I'm developing an application in wpf, in it I use a datagrid, each cell as a datatemplate with and image, in a mosaic style, on the side of the grid I have some tiles to use on the grid, I'm able to drag the tiles but can't drop then on the grid because I can't find the cell to which make the drop, is there a way to get a cell position from the the drag events?   • Why does Outlook Express download old (POP3) mail?

The problem is that every now and then, Outlook Express starts downloading all old emails, which amounts to tens of thousands of emails. This happens on every single computer (three) at the office. Is this caused by our OE configuration? Or by our hosting?

  • Best Practice for creating Web Services

    To preface I am new to web development. I am looking at creating a core set of RESTful web services around a valuable document library of sorts (initial CRUD abilities). In doing so I am theoretically creating a perfectly re-usable and scalable back-end to be used by unanticipated applications in the future. My question centers around the best practice for doing this. My initial requirement has me also creating a unique front end. Would I make the front end and back end completely separate projects to enhance the re-usability. It would increase overhead. Looking at using GWT, Restlet, and JEE technology stack if this influences the setup at all.

  • jquery clickling fast

    Hi. I have this function, that adds 31px to my style bottom on ul. It works fine, but if I click fast, it no longer adds 31px, but some weird number like 17.423px. I guess it's because the animation isn't done, and thereby by clicking fast it adds 31px to the current px amount. My thought is that I need to insert a stop(). But where?   • Generate data classes failed ?

    Hi everyone, I use MonoDevelop 2.2.2 with Mono 2.6.3 on OpenSuse so the linq to sql feature is implemented. But I have the problem I can create a new connexion to a postgresql database it's ok but when I click in Tool - Generate Data classes and select the connexion I've created before I obtain nothing, no tables appear. What's the problem ?
