  • HTML5 for IE6.0

    Hello! Do you know any method to optimize this HTML Code to IE6 or 7 (or 8) without adding any HTML elements, or the IE is skipping all the HTML5 elements?   • Active Merchant Paypal Recurring Pem Error Neither Pub Nor Priv Key

    Hi, I am trying to use ActiveMerchant to make a Paypal Recurring transaction call. I used the patch here: http://blog.vuzit.com/2008/08/01/paypal-website-payments-pro-us-with-recurring-billing-and-activemerchant/ and I'm stuck on this here: ActiveMerchant::Billing::PaypalGateway.pem_file = File.read('paypal_cert.pem') I am fairly sure the pem file is correctly downloaded from paypal. The error I receive is: /Library/Ruby/Gems/1.8/gems/activemerchant-1.5.1/lib/active_merchant/lib/connection.rb:129:in initialize': Neither PUB key nor PRIV key:: nested asn1 error (OpenSSL::PKey::RSAError) from /Library/Ruby/Gems/1.8/gems/activemerchant-1.5.1/lib/active_merchant/lib/connection.rb:129:innew' from calling the commit method from line 49 of paypal_pro_recurring. I simply have 2 files - paypal_pro_recurring.rb from the tutorial and paypalTest.rb which I wrote and simply requires all files and calls the function. I hope the error isn't something stupid like I must require from an environment file or something. Thanks all!

  • mciSendString cannot save to directory path

    Hello, VS C# 2008 SP1 I have a created a small application that records and plays audio. However, my application needs to save the wave file to the application data directory on the users computer. The mciSendString takes a C style string as a parameter and has to be in 8.3 format. However, my problem is I can't get it to save. And what is strange is sometime it does and sometimes it doesn't. Howver, most of the time is failes. However, if I save directly to the C drive it works first time everything. I have used 3 different methods that I have coded below. The error number that I get when it fails is 286."The file was not saved.   • Using DevIL with Xcode

    Hello everyone! I'm trying to use DevIL with XCode but I can't get it to work. I tried using the "standard" method by doing "configure make make install" and using #import <IL/il> but it doesn't work.   • Tinymce extended_valid_elements for BBcodes?

    I use Tinymce with BBcodes plugin so the tags used in the editor are [B] [U] [I] [quote] [color]. If you are familiar with TinyMce there is a great option to filter all unwanted tags when pasting to the editor. Unfortunately i think this is not working for BBcodes mode, what i want is to remove any <TAGS> Or Other Unwanted BBcodes such as [url] & [img] So, my white list is : [B] [U] [I] [quote] [color=XXXXXX]. I'm already filtering in the server side, but i want this to be implemented in the client side too, So by example if someone copied from a webpage a mix of images and urls and formatted text, every image will be stripped and every url will be "unclickable" directly after pasting.   • Why is my substitution control suddenly not working in ASP.NET 4.0?

    I just upgraded my site from ASP.NET 3.5 to 4.0. I've been working through some breaking changes (there were more than I expected). One I can't figure out, however, is why my <asp:Substitution /> control suddenly stopped working like it should. It's supposed to ignore the output cache settings of the parent page and update upon every request. For some reason that isn't happening. It's caching for the full 10 minutes (the OutputCache setting for my home page). Any ideas?

I'm not quite sure how to time the frame rate with python. For example, assuming I have all of my appropriate frame data and drawing functions, how would I go about coding the timing to display it at 30 frames per second (or any other arbitrary rate).

    While I was reading the book Javascript: The Good Parts. I can not understand the piece of code bellow: We can generalize this by making a function that helps us make memoized functions. The memoizer function will take an initial memo array and the fundamental function. It returns a shell function that manages the memo store and that calls the fundamental function as needed. We pass the shell function and the function's parameters to the fundamental function: var memoizer = function (memo, fundamental) { var shell = function (n) { var result = memo[n]; if (typeof result !== 'number') { result = fundamental(shell, n); memo[n] = result; } return result; }; return shell; }; We can now define fibonacci with the memoizer, providing the initial memo array and fundamental function: var fibonacci = memoizer([0, 1], function (test, n) { return test(n - 1) + test(n - 2); }); My question is what is the test function? When does it get defined and invoked? It seems very confusing to me. Also I think this statement: memo[n] = result; is useless. Please correct if I am wrong.

    My java scirpt is not working right. It is simple pre-vailidation form and I can not get the script to work. It is supposed to validate each field but I can not get it to validate past the first name.   • YouTube player api - addEventListener() does not work for me?

    Hi, I'm using the youtube player api. I'm following the doc here: http://code.google.com/apis/youtube/js_api_reference.html having a problem adding an event listener on the player, it seems to just get stuck there. I put an alert statement directly after, which never gets called: ytplayer.addEventListener("onStateChange", "onytplayerStateChange"); alert("I never get called..."); any idea why this would happen? Running it through FF chrome safari, same thing happens on all. Other player features all work fine. I'm using the swfobject version. I'm running this live from a server too. I don't get it. Thanks

  • complex MySQL Order by not working

    Here is the select statement I'm using. The problem happens with the sorting. When it is like below, it only sorts by t2.userdb_user_first_name, doesn't matter if I put that first or second. When I remove that, it sorts just fine by the displayorder field value pair. So I know that part is working, but somehow the combination of the two causes the first_name to override it. What I want is for the records to be sorted by displayorder first, and then first_name within that. SELECT t1.userdb_id FROM default_en_userdbelements as t1 INNER JOIN default_en_userdb AS t2 ON t1.userdb_id = t2.userdb_id WHERE t1.userdbelements_field_name = 'newproject' AND t1.userdbelements_field_value = 'no' AND t2.userdb_user_first_name!='Default' ORDER BY (t1.userdbelements_field_name = 'displayorder' AND t1.userdbelements_field_value), t2.userdb_user_first_name; Edit: here is what I want to accomplish. I want to list the users (that are not new projects) from the userdb table, along with the details about the users that is stored in userdbelements.   • C++: compute a number's complement and its number of possible mismatches

    I got a bit stuck with my algorithm and I need some help to solve my problem. I think an example would explain better my problem. Assuming: d = 4 (maximum number of allowed bits in a number, 2^4-1=15). m_max = 1 (maximum number of allowed bits mismatches). kappa = (maximum number of elements to find for a given d and m, where m in m_max) The main idea is for a given number, x, to compute its complement number (in binary base) and all the possible combinations for up to m_max mismatches from x complement's number. Now the program start to scan from i = 0 till 15. for i = 0 and m = 0, kappa = \binom{d}{0} = 1 (this called a perfect match) possible combinations in bits, is only 1111 (for 0: 0000). for i = 0 and m = 1, kappa = \binom{d}{1} = 4 (one mismatch) possible combinations in bits are: 1000, 0100, 0010 and 0001 My problem was to generalize it to general d and m.
