• Change Keyboard input language

  I am developing one android app in two different languages. When user click on "Change language" button it ask to choose language from two different languages option and change keyboard according to that language. For example : User choose "Arabic" language then keyboard input language should automatically change from English to Arabic. Please help me to resolve this issue. It's urgent for me. • Grouped UITableView's cell separator missing when setting backgroundView with an image

  I have a grouped UITableView with a custom UITableViewCell class and I am adding a custom background image to each cell. However, when I do this, the cell's separator is not visible. If simply switch the table style to Plain instead of Grouped, the separator is showing up. I need the grouped table - how do I make the separator show up? • How to override [Authorize] attribute in the MVC Web API?

  I have a MVC Web Api Controller that uses the [Authorize] attribute at the class level. This makes all of the api methods require authorization but I'd like to create an attribute called [ApiPublic] that overrides the [Authorize] attribute. There is a similar technique described here for normal MVC controllers. I tried creating an AuthorizeAttribute based of the System.Web.Http.AuthorizeAttribute but none of the overridden events are called if I put it on a api method that has the [Authorize] at the class level. Anyone have an idea how to override the authorize for the web api?   I have this functionality in my Application implemented using Jersey Rest WebServices . Once the user is logged into the application , i am creating DTO Object and setting some User Specific Data inside it . Please let me know how can i pass this User Specific DTO Object to the Jersey Service class ?? Please note that , I dont want to use HttpSession to store Data (Because in our Application we have a facility where a User can enter with Multiple ID's in one browser as a result same sessionId will be created by the browser )

• PHPFOG and MySql

  I am playing around with PHPFog and as a result I ended up with a MySql database. I am trying to figure out how to connect to it with a success message. PHPFog says use this: mysql_connect( $server = getenv('MYSQL_DB_HOST'), $username = getenv('MYSQL_USERNAME'), $password = getenv('MYSQL_PASSWORD')); mysql_select_db(getenv('MYSQL_DB_NAME')); So I basically plug my variables into the above?   Im sorry if I havent done my research properly, - but couldnt find the answer I needed, so here goes: From my main page I open a new window using mainPlayer = window.open(); This window stays open until user clicks on a mainPlayer.close(); event. (or simply x closes the window) However, the idea is to make it possible to let the player keep playing, while browsing around the rest of the pages. But as soon as the user leaves the page that opened the mainPlayer window, the reference to the mainPlayer window seem to be lost. How do I, from the site's other pages, check if the mainPlayer window is open and close it on a click event? Thx John

  I want a simple perl script that can help me impute missing nucleotides in aligned sequences: As an example, my old_file contains the following aligned sequences: seq1 ATGTC seq2 ATGTC seq3 ATNNC seq4 NNGTN seq5 CTCTN So I now want to infer all Ns in the file and get a new file with all the Ns inferred based on the majority nucleotide at a particular position. My new_file should look like this: seq1 ATGTC seq2 ATGTC seq3 ATGTC seq4 ATGTC seq5 CTCTC A script with usage: "impute_missing_data.pl old_file new_file" or any other approach will be helpful to me. • mvc jquery passing form values after user presses "Accept" button

  So I have a form and a submit button that posts the form to an action. But I wanted to show a popup where the user can deny or accept an agreement. The app runs ok, but after clicking the button about 200 times on the emulator, app crashed and gave me this error https://dl.dropbox.com/u/5488790/error.txt (couldn't figure how to post it here so it will appear decently) i am assuming this is because the MediaPlayer object is consuming up too much memory, but isn't mp.release() supposed to take care of this? What am i doing wrong here?

The sizeof(a) can be taken as 4. I want to know if the the if syntax is a valid one and if so why doesn't it execute? PS : I haven't sat down on this for long due to time constraints.   I'm having difficulty modifying a script for this situation and wondering if someone maybe able to help: I have an address table and a phone table both sharing the same column called id_number. So id_number = 2 on both tables refers to the same entity. Address and phone information used to be stored in one table (the address table) but it is now split into address and phone tables since we moved to Oracle 11g. There is a 3rd table called both_ids. This table also has an id_number column in addition to an other_ids column storing SSN and some other ids. I would separate the actual value (an int) and unit (a str) to separated variables.   I have a sample url website: http://mysite.com/ var host = window.location.protocol+"://"+window.location.hostname; $.ajax({ type:"POST", data: params, url : host+'/forms/get_data.php', success:function(data){ ...othercodeblahblah } }); Why is it that when I try to check my firebug it makes the URL weird. This is the sample output of firebug: http://mysite.com/mysite.com/forms/get_data.php With this url it now gives me: "NetworkError: 404 Not Found - http://mysite.com/mysite.com/forms/get_data.php" Shouldn't it output like http://mysite.com/forms/get_data.php ? Why is it giving me a wrong url path? Your help would be greatly appreciated and rewarded! Thank!

• How to override <base> tag without removing the tag itself?

  I'm trying to add some internal links(in the format of a content table, to be able to facilitate webpage navigation) to this site in which a tag is used. Now obviously due to the base tag, every other relative tag will be relative to the base tag href. But in order for me to create this internal content table with the links pointing to different parts of the specific page, i need to get the default URL (before base tag is in effect) so the internal links can work properly. • How can I resolve circular dependencies in Funq IoC?

  I have two classes which I need to reference each other. class Foo { public Foo(IBar bar) {} } class Bar { public Bar(IFoo foo) {} } When I do: container.RegisterAutoWiredAs<Foo, IFoo>(); container.RegisterAutoWiredAs<Bar, IBar>(); and when I try to resolve either interface I get a circular dependency graph which results in an eternal loop. Is there an easy way to solve this in Funq or do you know of a workaround?

  I currently have the following function to get the divisors of an integer: -- All divisors of a number divisors :: Integer -> [Integer] divisors 1 = [1] divisors n = firstHalf ++ secondHalf where firstHalf = filter (divides n) (candidates n) secondHalf = filter (\d -> n `div` d /= d) (map (n `div`) (reverse firstHalf)) candidates n = takeWhile (\d -> d * d <= n) [1..n] I ended up adding the filter to secondHalf because a divisor was repeating when n is a square of a prime number. This seems like a very inefficient way to solve this problem. So I have two questions: How do I measure if this really is a bottle neck in my algorithm? And if it is, how do I go about finding a better way to avoid repetitions when n is a square of a prime?

• Scrapy Not Returning Additonal Info from Scraped Link in Item via Request Callback

  Basically the code below scrapes the first 5 items of a table. One of the fields is another href and clicking on that href provides more info which I want to collect and add to the original item. So parse is supposed to pass the semi populated item to parse_next_page which then scrapes the next bit and should return the completed item back to parse Running the code below only returns the info collected in parse If I change the return items to return request I get a completed item with all 3 "things" but I only get 1 of the rows, not all 5.
