  • Using preg_replace to replace all occurrences in php

    Regex is absolutely my weak point and this one has me completely stumped. I am building a fairly basic search functionality and I need to be able to alter my user input based on the following pattern: Subject: %22first set%22 %22second set%22-drupal -wordpress Desired output: +"first set" +"second set" -drupal -wordpress I wish I could be more help as I normally like to at least post the solution I have so far, but on this one I'm at a loss.     IF you supply a list of strings to an edit control and set the autocomplete mode and source then you automatically get auto complete functionality. My question is can I get the same functioanlity in .NET somewhere without a control. In other words I want something like string[] ProgressivePartialMatch( string[] Strings, string MatchText ) and so I want the strings back that would have showed up in the auto complete so to speak

    Hello, I have a password hash that is stored in a table and is put there by the following coldfusion script- #Hash(EnCrypt(UCase(GetPass.username),EnCode))# I am trying to add some outside functionality within a c# application. I would like to be able to take advantage of the data that already exists so that I can authenticate users. Does anyone know how I can replicate the above coldfusion code in c#?   • Simple WCF service with REST - Resource cannot be found - error with ASP.NET Debug Server?

    Hi, I'm testing a very simple WCF-Service with REST functionality enabled. It works fine on IIS, but the VS2010 debug webserver always says "The resource cannot be found" when appending the parameter after the .svc file in the browser uri. Is this a known issue with the asp.net debug webserver that it cannot work with REST or am I doing anything wrong? (again: with IIS, it works)

  • ldd output showing shared object file whose function is not called

    I ran ldd command on an executable created by Open MPI. It shows a reference to libpthread.so Using LD_PRELOAD variable I created my own implementation of pthread_create, but from the it output it seems that MPI implementation is not calling pthread_create as I had expected. Why does ldd show pthread so file in output if it is not being used? does Open MPI not use a separate MPI thread for every node to implement the functionality?

    Is it possible, from within ASP.NET MVC, to route to different controllers or actions based on the accessing device/browser? I'm thinking of setting up alternative actions and views for some parts of my website in case it is accessed from the iPhone, to optimize display and functionality of it. I don't want to create a completely separate project for the iPhone though as the majority of the site is fine on any device. Any idea on how to do this?
