• Is it possible to virtualize war file execution without separate J2EE container deployments?

  Let's say I want to allow my developers to upload their war files to a web app (not the application server itself) running on our intranet and that web app would then run those wars as if they were separate apps deployed individually in our J2EE container. In other words, we are not actually deploying the wars as separate apps in the container - they are simply running side-by-side inside this one web app that acts like a J2EE container. Is that possible? Something like a war virtualization app?

• Mercurial Workflow for small team

  I'm working in a team of 3 developers and we have recently switched from CVS to Mercurial. We are using Mercurial by having local repositories on each of our workstations and pulling/pushing to a development server. I'm not sure this is the best workflow, as it is easy to forget to Push after a Commit, and 3 way merge conflicts can cause a real headache. Is there a better workflow we could use, as I think the complexity of distributed VC is outweighing the benefits at the moment. Thanks

  What is the recommended naming convention for properties added to the Bundle.properties file in NetBeans? Should properties added by developers be prefixed with tags similar to those of NetBeans. I've noted several in use (e.g., CTL_, HINT_, MSG_, TXT_), but no guidance on where each should be used or if they should be used only by the NetBeans team.
