  Has anyone taken the vmware certified professional exam? I was wondering if I can just take this class: http://mylearn1.vmware.com/mgrreg/courses.cfm?ui=www&a=one&id_subject=10103 or would I need to do additional studying on my own? I'm a developer with limited server experience. I'm aware of the technologies but haven't worked with them directly. Anyone that has taken the exam or has been in a similar situation, any insight would be appreciated.

• Adding back button to navigation bar

  I've added a navigation bar to a UIViewController. It is displayed from another UIViewController only. I'd like to have a left side back button that is shaped similar to an arrow, just like the normal navigation bar back button. It seems I can only add a bar button through IB. I'm guessing the back button needs to be added programmatically. Any suggestions on how I should do this?

  I want to create an index of symbols or notation, similar to the usual index one obtains with makeindex. I have gotten this to work, using the glossaries package. However, just as in the usual index, I would like to get two columns in the index of symbols, while glossaries puts everything under each other. Commands like twocolumn or multicol also do not work, because then the second column starts higher than the first, above the title of the index of symbols. Any suggestions?

  Although my relativelayout looks very similar on WVGA800 and WVGA854 on the emulator, theres different spacing on some of the objects because I'm going off of marginleft or marginright. Since the 854 is a greater width, its pushing some objects differently. Is there any way I could target either one to adjust for the different margins?

What it does is that it will automatically open any file given as a command line argument and in this case print the content of that file. I know how to do this on the Windows versions, with SendInput calls, but I need to do something similar for Linux ports. It looks complicated, because ideally, I'd like something that would work on multiple Linux distros (SuSe, Red Hat, Ubunutu...) and it looks like there are at least 3 different screen-saver frameworks: xscreensaver, gnome-screensaver, and something else in KDE.

  When I build a unit test project before the tests are executed the test output is copied to a TestResults folder and then the tests are executed. The issue I'm having is that not all the files in the Debug/bin directory are copied to the TestResults project. How can I get a file that is copied to the Debug/bin directory to also be copied to the TestResults folder?   Are there any repercussions using Negative Primary Keys for tables (Identity Increment -1, Identity Seed -1 in SQL Server 2005)? The reason for this is we're creating a new database to replace an existing one. There are similar tables between the two databases and we'd like the "source" of the information to be transparent to our applications. The approach is to create views that unions tables from both databases. Negative PKs ensures the identities don't overlap.

Note that multiple inclusion of the headers isn't possible due to the classic #ifndef HEADER #define HEADER #endif trick (if that matters). Does the static mean only one copy of VAL is created, in case the header is included by more than one source file?
