  • How to deploy on a remote machine using hudson's WAS Builder Plugin?

    I have a hudson build server (Windows) that does not have Websphere installed. I created a Hudson node that I connect to via SSH. I also installed the WAS Builder Plugin to run jython scripts on the AIX machine. The job that uses the WAS Builder Plugin is tied to the AIX box. I run into errors. Does anybody know, whether that setup might work or if a different setup will work for the WAS Builder Plugin?   • How to link a SQlite Extension Source File into Xcode for iPhone?

    I use a statically linked library for Sqlite in an iPhone Xcode project. I am now trying to include a .C extension to Sqlite in this project. However, I am having trouble making the Sqlite in the build SEE the extension. The statically linked Sqlite library works fine. Also the .C extension works on my desktop, and builds fine as a statically linked library in Xcode. However, the custom functions it defines are missing when called. For example, I load the extension as so with no errors. SELECT load_extension('extension_name.so'); But when I try to call a function defined in the extension, I get this message DB Error: 1 "no such function: custom_function" Does anyone know much about linking a Sqlite extension into an Xcode project?

    I have a Ubuntu 12.04/Zentyal 2.3 server configured with WAN NATed on eth0, local interfaces eth1 and wlan0 bridged on br1 on which DHCP runs, and an OpenVPN connection on tun0.   • xp_smtp_sendmail blank space added to html randomly

    I have a proc where I generate small html doc with a link and send it out via xp_smtp_sendmail proc. Link is generated based on query results and is long. This works in most cases. However, sometimes the link gets broken due to spaces being inserted into querystring variable names, i.e. &Na me=John. This might vary between email clients(same link works in Gmail, but might not work in comcast due to spaces. The space seems to be randomly inserted, so in each broken email link space might break other querystring variables. When I do PRINT from proc the link is clean, no spaces. Here's my sample of the mail proc being executed within main proc(that gets query results and generates html for @Message). The space seems to be inserted regardless of whether I encode the url or not. Thank you in advance for your help.     I have a text file that lists the names of a large number of Excel spreadsheets, and the names of the files that are linked to from the spreadsheets. In simplified form it looks like this: "Parent File1.xls" Link: ChildFileA.xls Link: ChildFileB.xls "ParentFile2.xls" "ParentFile3.xls" Blah Link: ChildFileC.xls Link: ChildFileD.xls More Junk Link: ChildFileE.xls "Parent File4.xls" Link: ChildFileF.xls In this example, ParentFile1.xls has embedded links to ChildFileA.xls and ChildFileB.xls, ParentFile2.xls has no embedded links, and ParentFile3.xls has 3 embedded links. I am trying to write a regular expression in PowerShell that will parse the text file producing output in the following form: ParentFile1.xls:ChildFileA.xls,ChildFileB.xls ParentFile3.xls:ChildFileC.xls,ChildFileD.xls,ChildFileE.xls etc The task is complicated by the fact that the text file contains a lot of junk between each of the lines, and a parent may not always have a child. Furthermore, a single file name may pass over multiple lines. However, it's not as bad as it sounds, as the parent and child file names are always clearly demarcated (the parent with quotes and the child with a prefix of Link: ). Firstly, the inclusion of the "" instead of a newline whenever a Parent without a Child is processed. And the second issue, which is the most important, is that only a single child is ever shown for each parent. I'm guessing I need to somehow recursively capture and display the multiple child links that exist for each parent, but I'm totally stumped as to how to do this with a regular expression. Amy help would be greatly appreciated. The file contains 100's of thousands of lines, and manual processing is not an option :)

    The file succeed to upload when it is 2KB or lower in size. The main reason why I use streaming is to be able to upload file up to at least 1 GB.   • When is it safe to remote import entires from feature.xml?

    I've recently learned that the import section from feature.xml is legacy, and the actual dependency work is delegated to the p2 engine, which uses the information from the plugin manifest. I am not sure though if p2 is available for all recent versions of Eclipse, or in all Eclipse-based products, so I'm not sure if it is safe to remove the import section from feature.xml. Under what circumstances is it safe to remove the import section from feature.xml? Assume that we are taking into consideration Eclipse 3.4 or newer.

  • Hibernate: How do I link a subclass to its superclass?

    Hey there! I'm having a little problem setting up my webshop project. Thing is, I have a User() superclass and two subclasses, PrivateUser and BusinessUser. Now, I'm not quite sure how to get my head around storing this relationship via hibernate. For the purpose of this question, the User() class contains only one field: String address; the PrivateUser contains: String firstName; and the BusinessUser contains: String CompanyName; Each field has its getter and setter. As is right now, I would only store and be able to get firstName and companyName. When I fetch a user from my DB using Hibernate I would get a PrivateUser/BusinessUser with a null address. Bottom line is, could someone point me towards a useful tutorial or better yet show a similar example code? Thanks!

    I would like to model the following many to many relationship. Table A ID Field1 Field2 Table B ID Field1 Field2 LinkTable A_ID B_ID Field_I_want_to_ignore As I understand it, if LinkTable.Field_I_want_to_ignore was not present, the Entity Model Designer would automatically create a Many to Many relationship between entity A and entity B. However, because this field exists in the database the designer won't do it for me. I can delete the Field_I_want_to_ignore from the LinkTable Entity that the designer created for me, but how do I eliminate the LinkTable entity altogether and create the many to many relationship I want? I'm not averse to digging through the XML, just at the moment I can't see how to achieve what I want.

Is there a simple way of specifying the route values with RedirectToAction or ActionLink so that the url's get generated like the above example?   • Microsoft Sync Framework - Local DB and Remote DB have to have the same schema?

    When using MSF, is it implied in the technology that the sync tables are supposed to be 1-1? The reason I'm wondering is that if I'm synching from a SQL2005 database to a SQLCE, I might want the CE one to be a little more flattened out so I can get data out with a simpler SELECT statement (as CE does not support sprocs). For example, I might have a tblCustomer, tblOrder, and tblCustomerOrder in the central database, but in the local databases one table with all the data might be preferred. Of course I'd still want the updates to reflect back and forth between the two databases. Does MSF make this possible, or does the local DB have to have the same tables as the central?

  • My pay pal button will not link to pay pal. It only refreshes page, why?

  • Air XmlHttpRequest time out if remote server is offline?

    I'm writing an AIR application that communicates with a server via XmlHttpRequest. The problem that I'm having is that if the server is unreachable, my asynchronous XmlHttpRequest never seems to fail. My onreadystatechange handler detects the OPENED state, but nothing else. Is there a way to make the XmlHttpRequest time out? Do I have to do something silly like using setTimeout() to wait a while then abort() if the connection isn't established? Edit: Found this, but in my testing, wrapping my xmlhttprequest.send() in a try/catch block or setting a value on xmlhttprequest.timeout (or TimeOut or timeOut) doesn't have any affect.

    I'm getting a strange error when doing bundle install: $ bundle install Fetching source index for http://rubygems.org/ rvm/rubies/ree-1.8.7-2010.02/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/rubygems/remote_fetcher.rb:304 :in `open_uri_or_path': bad response Not Found 404 (http://rubygems.org/quick/Marshal.4.8/resque-scheduler-1.09.7.gemspec.rz) (Gem::RemoteFetcher::FetchError) I've tried bundle update, gem source -c, gem update --system, gem cleanup, etc etc. Nothing seems to solve this. I notice that the URL beginning with http://rubygems.org/quick does seem to be a 404 -- I don't think that's any problem with my network, though if that's reachable for anyone else then that would be a simple explanation for my problem. More hints: If I just gem install resque-scheduler it works fine: $ gem install resque-scheduler Successfully installed resque-scheduler-1.9.7 1 gem installed Installing ri documentation for resque-scheduler-1.9.7...   • Is it possible to unstick a remote IIS ASP server after an exception hangs the session?

    I have been coding an app in classic ASP that accesses 2 Access databases. I had a page I was working on throw an exception, which is normal during development and causes no lasting problems. This time however, after the exception any attempt to open either of the databases would freeze the session with an infinite script timeout. If I delete the session cookie I an able to access ASP pages again until I try to open the database again. The database that was open when the exception was thrown is left open. There is a LDB lock file and I can't rename or delete either the LDB or MDB file, though I can download the MDB file with FTP. The 2nd access database is not open but any attempt to read this also hangs the session. Accessing HTML pages is fine. The site is hosted with Hostway and they are not interested ("Coding problem = Your problem" even though it leaves my site dead in the water, I suspect until the next reboot, whenever that might be). Here is the dump from the relevant ASP page that threw the exception: Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0115' Unexpected error /translatestats.asp A trappable error (C0000005) occurred in an external object. The script cannot continue running. Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0240' Script Engine Exception /translatestats.asp A ScriptEngine threw exception 'C0000005' in 'IActiveScript::Close()' from 'CActiveScriptEngine::FinalRelease()'. Is there any way I can unstick the site / force close the database remotely ?
