• No GLX on Intel card with multiseat with additional nVidia card

  I have multiseat configured and my Xorg has 2 server layouts. One is for nVidia card and other is for Intel card. They both work, but display server assigned to Intel card doesn't have hardware acceleration since DRI and GLX module being used is from nVidia driver. So my question is, can I configure layouts somehow to use right DRI and GLX with each card?   I am trying to run eclipse and I am getting: /usr/lib/gio/modules/libgvfsdbus.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64 Failed to load module: /usr/lib/gio/modules/libgvfsdbus.so I already found out that it is because this library is 64bits. I have found 32bit version of it and putted in subdirectory of /usr/lib32 but eclipse do not want to look for it there. How can I make it to look for libraries in /usr/lib32?

I am talking about an email module that notifies users of events and periodically sends reports. The only other feature I have in mind is maintaining grey/black lists for users that do illegal operations in the system or any other things that may lead to email/domain/IP banning. Is there an etiquette for developing email modules? Are there some references of requirements for such modules?

• Ralink-based USB Wi-Fi adapter drops connection after some time

  I have an Intellinet Wireless 150N USB adapter (based on a Ralink rt3070 chip) in an Ubuntu 10.10 installation. The problem is, that it's dropping the connection after being connected to a wireless network for 10 - 20 minutes. I have to unplug it and plug it in again every time this happens. I read somewhere, that I need to blacklist some chipset modules, but I don't how? And which ralink modules I have to blacklist? Thanks for your answers! :D

• Mock RequireJS define dependencies with config.map

In this case, I don’t care about the actual implementation of the module (it’s simple enough that I’m just avoiding some AJAX calls). EDIT: make sure you look at the bottom example after the edit before using the config.map approach. I found that there is an easier way. I did not want to change the constructor of the consumer as I had a chain of changes that would have to be made and that would have been to invasive for this task. I found a question on StackOverflow with a short, but helpful answer from “Artem Oboturov”. We can use the config.map from RequireJs to achieve this. That’s all you need to be able to mock a depency in RequireJS. • Wifi problems after upgrading to 13.10

  I just upgraded to Ubuntu 13.10, but since the upgrade I don't have internet access via wifi anymore. I can: See networks Connect to a network Ping myself (localhost, 192.168.0.103) I can't: Ping others (including other devices on the same wireless network, including the gateway/router) Resolve hosts Access any other external resource, whether on my own network or on the internet Using Wireshark, I noticed my computer is continuously sending ARP-requests like "Who has 192.168.0.1 [which is the gateway]? Tell 192.168.0.103". It doesn't get any replies though. When I ping another IP-address for which it knows the mac-address (from cache), it turns out a packet loss of 90% occurs, and even if a packet manages to arrive it takes around 3000ms.   I've written an extension to RequestTracker for a client, but he says the performance isn't good enough. I'd like to do some profiling, but I'm not sure how to connect up a profiler (say NYTProf, for example)? I tried what the man page says and put PerlModule Devel::NYTProf::Apache in my apache config, but all I get in the results are Apache2:XSLoader, Devel::NYTProf::Apache and ModPerl::Util modules in the results, and neither my own nor RT's modules.

  I've registered xdebug in php.ini (as per http://xdebug.org/docs/install) but it's not showing up when i run "php -m" or when i get a test page to run "phpinfo()". I've just installed the latest version of XAMPP. Can anyone provide any suggestions in getting xdebug to show up? • Server.transfer causing HttpException

  I am developing a C#/SQL ASP.NET web application in VS 2008. Currently I am using the Server.Transfer method to transfer control from one ASPX.CS file to another ASPX file. The first time through, this works. But after control is transferred to this new file it encounters a condition: if (restart == false) { where "restart" is a boolean variable. After this statement it immediately transfers control back to the same ASPX.CS file and tries to reexecute the Server.Transfer method. This time it gives me the following exception and stack trace.   After upgrading an ASP.NET application from .NET Framework 3.5 to .NET Framework 4.0 I ran into the following error message dialog when trying to view any of the modules in IIS on the server. What happened is during the upgrade, the web.config file was automatically converted for .NET Framework 4.0.  This left behind an empty system.web.extensions section: It was an easy fix to resolve, just remove the unused system.web.extensions section.   ERROR DIALOG TEXT: --------------------------- ASP --------------------------- There was an error while performing this operation. • XAF DSL Tool Needs a new Team Lead

  I have enjoyed my time on this project and have used it in several production projects.  However, with the enhancements in Visual Studio 2010 and the Entity Framework, the DSL tool doesn’t make sense for me to support at this time.  With that said, I am looking for someone who has interest to continue the project if they so desire.  I have moved my attention to creating a new project at Entity Framework Extensions for XAF.  We are converting the current DSL tool into the Entity Framework extensions.  The same code generation and everything else work.  However, the visual design surface is so much easier to work with.  If you have any questions, please let me know.  Also, please take a moment to look at the new project.  This is where all my effort going forward will be focused.
