  I've just started using selinux in the last 6 months and am getting to grips with it. However, using sealert on a new CENTOS 6 server, Im not getting the level of detail I was with CENTOS 5. To illustrate: Running sealert -a /var/log/audit/audit.log On CENTOS 5 I get: Summary: SELinux is preventing postdrop (postfix_postdrop_t) "getattr" to /var/log/httpd/error_log (httpd_log_t). Detailed Description: SELinux denied access requested by postdrop. It is not expected that this access is required by postdrop and this access may signal an intrusion attempt. It is also possible that the specific version or configuration of the application is causing it to require additional access. Allowing Access: Sometimes labeling problems can cause SELinux denials. You could try to restore the default system file context for /var/log/httpd/error_log, restorecon -v '/var/log/httpd/error_log' If this does not work, there is currently no automatic way to allow this access. I don't want to have to install and run VisualSVN (I run on Windows) to do this. I have a backup of the repository via svnadmin dump.   I created a method "UPLPAD2" to upload file to server. Splitting my file to packets(10MB). It's OK (100%). But when i call getInputStream, i get FileNotFoundException. I think, in loop, i make new HttpURLConnection to set "setRequestProperty". This is a problem.   I'm using Phing to do post build tasks in Hudson. I want to generate changelog containing all commits since last successful Hudson build. But looks like neither Hudson nor Git plugin for Hudson does not provide %last_build_time% variable. This would be satisfying solution, (but how to get the time?): git log --pretty="%s" --since="%last_build_time%" The only way I see for now is extracting it from the job xml file, but I do not know if it is possible with Phing. How do you generate your change logs?

  Just installed django-db-log module and trying to make it work properly. 'python manage.py syncdb' command created databases, it seems like logging works, but there is nothing about it in admin panel. As I found in documentation, it should add itself in admin panel without any additional configuration, but then I added 'djangodblog.middleware.DBLogMiddleware' in MIDDLEWARE_CLASSES and 'djangodblog' in INSTALLED_APPS it looks like nothing happens. What I'm doing wrong?

  Suppose, you have a special log table of your application. What do you think about creating a BLOB field for a possible stack trace ? Logging is done to file as well, but it is not so convenient to read a text file, moreover database is more "accessible".
