    I'm troubleshooting a java app where XML is sent between two systems using HTTP POST and a servlet. I suspect that the problem is that the XML is growing way to big. Is it possible that this is the problem? Is there a limit? When it doesn't work, the request.getParameter("message") on the consumer side will return null. Both apps are running on tomcat

The following are the details of the question: A] Platform being used -- google app engine with python, django. B] Tutorial link being used -- http://code.google.com/appengine/articles/djangoforms.html C] Question: In the application i am building, there is a drop down box which allows the user to select their country. Since the list of countries is above 200, i want to construct a database of the countries before the application loads.     this is a follow on from this question and the link given it seems that when an app is updated all of the files in the documents directory are copied into the updated apps documents directory and also anything in Library/Preferences. Whats the best way to simulate this for testing purposes? Just copy the files in ApplicationSupport/iPhone Simulator etc? or has anyone developped any funky techniques for testing this.

    The term has several definition according to Wikipedia, however what I'm really interested in is creating a program that has all its needed dependencies included within the source folder, so the end user doesn't need to install additional libraries for the app to install. For example, how Mac apps has all its dependencies all within the program itself already... or is there a function that autotools does this? I'm programming in the Linux environment...

    Hi, A module level dictionary 'd' and is accessed by different threads/requests in a django web application. I need to update 'd' every minute with a new data and the process takes about 5 seconds. What could be best solution where I want the users to get either the old value or the new value of d and nothing in between. I can think of a solution where a temp dictionary is constructed with a new data and assigned to 'd' but not sure how this works! Appreciate your ideas. Thanks

I tried installing JUCE on an Ubuntu 11.04 system, and when I built the IntroJucer app, the menus don't work right (they flash open when I click with the mouse but then disappear). Can a JUCE app for Android be built on Mac OS X, or even Windows? If you are using JUCE to build Android apps, please give me any advice you can.
