• Zend_Soap_Client doesn't work with proxy

  I'm accessing a SOAP web service like : $wsdl_url = 'http://abslive3.timesgroup.com:8888/clsRSchedule.soap?wsdl' ; $client = new Zend_Soap_Client($wsdl_url, array('proxy_host'=>"http://virtual-browser.25u.com" , 'proxy_port'=>80)); Since my shared server blocks port 8888, I'm using this proxy server. But Zend Soap Client tries to directly connect it. • C# ArrayList calling on a constructor class

  I'm aware that an ArrayList is probably not the way to go with this particular situation, but humor me and help me lose this headache. I have a constructor class like follows: class Peoples { public string LastName; public string FirstName; public Peoples(string lastName, string firstName) { LastName = lastName; FirstName = firstName; } } And I'm trying to build an ArrayList to build a collection by calling on this constructor. However, I can't seem to find a way to build the ArrayList properly when I use this constructor. I have figured it out with an Array, but not an ArrayList. I have been messing with this to try to build my ArrayList: ArrayList people = new ArrayList(); people[0] = new Peoples("Bar", "Foo"); people[1] = new Peoples("Quirk", "Baz"); people[2] = new Peopls("Get", "Gad"); My indexing is apparently out of range according to the exception I get.

  Hi All, I have created a sample java socket application. I used Socket s = new Socket(ip, port) Now it works fine. but when my internet connection is very slow that time after a long interval (even if sometimes after 2 minutes) i used to get SocketTimeOutException in that line. means it gives that error while creating socket. I want the exception should be handled properly means if internet connection is very slow then if that error occurs it happens very late now . I want if this type of error occurs then it should be caught very fast means the error should not come at such a delay interval of time rather it should come immediately. How to achieve this.   i have the submit form with multiple file upload control(java script).when i will run the code is working well and showing me the form proper.i will fill the information properly and also file upload is working ok.but on clicking of Submit button the Mozilla shows me the "The connection was reset" exception.but if i was not upload any file by using the file upload then it never shows me any error.it save in database properly. i cant understand the problem please anybody help me out. • Strange behaviour with Microsoft.WindowsCE.Forms

  I have a Windows Mobile application in which I want to check the device orientation. Therefore I wrote the following property in one of my forms: internal static Microsoft.WindowsCE.Forms.ScreenOrientation DeviceOriginalOrientation { get; private set; } The strange thing is that after that whenever I open a UserControl, the designer shows this warning even if that UserControl doesn't use the property: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.WindowsCE.Forms, Version=3.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=969db8053d3322ac' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040) Commenting the above property will dismiss the warning and shows the user control again. The application is built successfully and runs without any problems in both cases. Does anybody know why this happens and how can I fix it?

  Hi, I am working with facebook's API and I want to call the links.prevew method. http://wiki.developers.facebook.com/index.php/Links.preview Is it possible to call this method without having my user authenticate or "connect"? For example, not all of my users have hooked up their facebook accounts to my website, but I still want to use this API method. I am getting the following error: Fatal error: Uncaught Exception: 453: A session key is required for calling this method thrown in /public_html/libs/facebook.php on line 413 But on the wiki it says that the method does not require a session key? If it is not possible to make API calls without such a key, is there anyway I can make calls on behalf of my account or my applications account (rather then a users account)? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

• fd.seek() IOError: [Errno 22] Invalid argument

  My Python Interpreter (v2.6.5) raises the above error in the following codepart: fd = open("some_filename", "r") fd.seek(-2, os.SEEK_END) #same happens if you exchange the second arg. w/ 2 data=fd.read(2); last call is fd.seek() Traceback (most recent call last): File "bot.py", line 250, in <module> fd.seek(iterator, os.SEEK_END); IOError: [Errno 22] Invalid argument The strange thing with this is that the exception occurs just when executing my entire code, not if only the specific part with the file opening. At the runtime of this part of code, the opened file definitely exists, disk is not full, the variable "iterator" contains a correct value like in the first codeblock. What could be my mistake?   I have a multiple select, and I need to force the user to choose maximum two options, nothing more. I'm trying this: jQuery.validator.addMethod("morethantwo", function(value, element) { var foo = []; $(element+' :selected').each(function(i, selected){ foo[i] = $(selected).text(); alert(foo[i]); }); return true; },"Max two options." ); The problem is that I get a: uncaught exception: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: [object HTMLSelectElement] error. While if I do this: $(element).each(function(i, selected){ foo[i] = $(selected).text(); alert(foo[i]); }); It works but I get all the options in the select. Why is that? Is this the correct road to walk? Are there better ways to do this kind of check? Thank you very much!

• Unkillable console windows

  I'm developing an OpenGL based 2d simulation with GLUT under Visual C++ 2008, sometimes when I have an assert() or unhandled exception and break into the debugger, the GLUT display window closes, but the console window remains open.They just cant be killed!!! They do not show up with Task manager, Process Explorer or any other tool, I cannot find the window handle using the Spy++ tool either. Worst thing is they prevent my system (Windows XP) from shutting down, I have to manually poweroff (and of course I have to run chkdsk on my drives and invariably it finds and fixes minor errors after bad shutdowns) Has anyone come across such an issue?

• DragDrop registration did not succeed in Setup Project

  Hello, we have some installation project in Visual Studio solution (Other project types - Setup and deployment - Setup project). This project have other library type project with Installation class named InstallationCore like project output. In user action I call to Install and Uninstall functions of installer of InstallationCore. InstallationCore has windows forms for interaction with user. There, in forms, I use Drag and Drop functionality for Drag and Drop text from Tree View to Text Box. But in line: txbUserName.AllowDrop = true; I get error of JIT debugger: Unhandled exception has occured DragDrop registration did not succeed System.InvalidOperationException: DragDrop registration did not succeed And long stack trace after that. Important to say, that when I run Installer function from test project the error did not occur and all work fine. Error occurs only when I run the .msi package. Any suggestions? Thank you for ahead.

• Can a http server detect that a client has cancelled their request?

  My web app must process and serve a lot of data to display certain pages. Sometimes, the user closes or refreshes a page while the server is still busy processing it. This means the server will continue to process data for several minutes only to send it to a client who is no longer listening. Is it possible to detect that the connection has been broken, and react to it? In this particular project, we're using Django and NginX, or Apache. I assumed this is possible because the Django development server appears to react to cancelled requests by printing Broken Pipe exceptions. I'd love to have it raise an exception that my application code could catch. Alternatively, I could register an unload event handler on the page in question, have it do a synchronous XHR requesting that the previous request from this user be cancelled, and do some kind of inter-process communication to make it so. Perhaps if the slower data processing were handed to another process that I could more easily identify and kill, without killing the responding process...

  in a partial view I have the following: <%Html.RenderAction(MVC.User.GetComments(Model.UserGroupName)); %> can I render a Controller's PartialViewResult in a View without going through routing so I can pass arguments directly from the model so that the arguments I'm passing to the controller never get sent to the user or seen by the user? Currently the method I'm showing at the top throws an exception because no overload is public. I've got it marked as internal so that a user can not access it, only the rendering engine was my intent.

  I am dealing with an interesting situation where I perform many database updates in a single transaction. If these updates fail for any reason, the transaction is rolled-back. IDbTransaction transaction try { transaction = connection.BeginTransaction(); // do lots of updates (where at least one fails) transaction.Commit(); } catch { transaction.Rollback(); // results in a timeout exception } finally { connection.Dispose(); } I believe the above code is generally considered the standard template for performing database updates within a transaction. The issue I am facing is that whilst transaction.Rollback() is being issued to SQL Server, it is also timing out on the client. Casting an Object to a generic type (say, K) does not throw a ClassCastException even if the object is not an instance of K. How else can I programmatically make this table invisible?

  I am using clojure.contrib.sql to fetch some records from an SQLite database. (defn read-all-foo [] (with-connection *db* (with-query-results res ["select * from foo"] (into [] res)))) Now, I don't really want to realize the whole sequence before returning from the function (i.e. I want to keep it lazy), but if I return res directly or wrap it some kind of lazy wrapper (for example I want to make a certain map transformation on result sequence), SQL-related bindings will be reset and connection will be closed after I return, so realizing the sequence will throw an exception. How can I enclose the whole function in a closure and return a kind of iterator block (like yield in C# or Python)? Or is there another way to return a lazy sequence from this function?

  Hello, I'am looking for a way to have a webview content selectable in the very same way as the stock browser does. user long presses the text the whole word is selected two pins appear at the word's boundary allowing the user to stretch/shrink the selection. I should note that Dolphin HD shows exactly the same text select functionality as the default browser (same icons, animation, etc), so it really should be possible. But I can't figure out how.
