While I found several links on how to create a basic RPM package, I can't find how to create a devel package (see this question if you wonder what a devel package is).   I have read under: Compiling Web Application Projects (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa983464.aspx) ... this compilation model creates a single assembly, you can specify attributes, such as assembly name and version. You can supply a PATH (directory name only) in the Visual Studio "Build Options". But where can the file name for the assembly be specified?

  I set Isolated=true to some COM library that I need to use registration free. Visual studio now created Native.* manifest files for each of my assemblies: Why "Native"? Can I change this?   is there an inbuilt method of tracking if a bundle has already been loaded? I have several edit views which forexample require jquery and jquery.Validate etc libraries. Which i don't need to reference on the main layout page. Since a page could consist of several different conditional libraries ... ideally i would like @scripts.Render to know if i have already referenced a library and prevent its reloading. Cheers Tim

I'm currently spawning a seperate process (powershell.exe) and then parse the output, but it would really be nice if I can leverage Powershell's 'power' by getting objects back from a powershell call.   When I look at the example of the user extensions of GWT-Ext I saw the Spinner as a user extension: http://www.gwt-ext.com/demo-ux/#spinner When I download the library from http://code.google.com/p/gwt-ext-ux/downloads/list (I downloaded the latest build -- 0.3.0) it does not appear to contain the Spinner class. Can anyone point me in the right direction for how to use it?

• Memory leak appears only when multiprocessing

  I am trying to use python's multiprocessing library to hopefully gain some performance. Specifically I am using its map function. Now, for some reason when I swap it out with its single threaded counterpart I don't get any memory leaks over time. But using the multiprocessing version of map causes my memory to go through the roof. For the record I am doing something which can easily hog up loads of memory, but what would the difference be between the two to cause such a stark difference?

In the supplied samples, they specify that the buffers below should be in USB ram and use a pic18f4550. unsigned char readbuff[64] absolute 0x500; // Buffers should be in USB RAM, please consult datasheet unsigned char writebuff[64] absolute 0x540; But the pic18f4550 datasheet says USB ram ranges from 400h to 4FFh So why does their example work when their buffers appear not to be between 400h to 4FFh? • Why AVCaptureSession output a wrong orientation?

  Hey guys, So, I followed Apple's instructions to capture video session using AVCaptureSession: http://developer.apple.com/iphone/library/qa/qa2010/qa1702.html. One problem I'm facing is that even though the orientation of the camera / iphone device is vertical (and the AVCaptureVideoPreviewLayer shows a vertical camera stream), the output image seems to be in the landscape mode. I checked the width and height of imageBuffer inside imageFromSampleBuffer: of the sample code, and I got 640px and 480px respectively. Does anyone know why this's the case? Thanks!

• netcon.h not found with mingw?

  I am using the mingw(4.4.0) compiler that is included with QT4 and my IDE is netbeans 6.9. i noticed that i can't find netcon.h when i try to include it.I need netcon.h because i need some kind of API to bring up/down a network adapter,and after some googling i found that netcon.h is most commonly used. Linking netcon.h directly from the microsoft sdk produces lots of errors.Or is there some other library to alows me to reset an adapter, or i had to visual C++ completely to solve this problem?

  I am in the process of setting up a CUDA workstation. Platform specs: Intel Core 2 Duo Nvidia GTX 280 Fedora 10 GCC version 4.3.2 I have installed the developer driver, toolkit, and the SDK. When I try to compile the SDK example code I get the following errors: make[1]: * [obj/i386/release/cutil.cpp.o] Error 1 make: * [lib/libcutil.so] Error 2 I think this means that I am missing a library file but I'm not sure.

• SharePoint problem: opening a office 2007 document tries to open as a zip file

  I have a number of Office 2007 documents (.pptx, .docx, .xlsx) in a SharePoint document library and when user tries to open the documents, it tries to open as a zip file. This happens to some users, but not all. I posted this issue at http://superuser.com/questions/110211/why-office-2007-documents-open-as-a-zip-file, but I failed to mention that it was related to the Sharepoint so it got moved to the superuser.com Please help.

  Is there any free Java library for extracting text from PDF, that is compatible with Google Application Engine? I've read about PDFJet, but it can't read PDF, can it? Is there perhaps other way how to extract text from PDF? I tried http://www.pdfdownload.org/, unfortunately they don't handle non-English characters correctly.
