  • Logging extra fields with Elmah Error Table?

    I want to add my own session variable to elmah error log table and display it. I already have modified the source code and added the new fields to Error.cs and other fields but I don't know but when I assign an HttpContext.Current.Session["MyVar"].tostring() value to my field in the constructor it stops logging exceptions and does not log any exception. I just need to get the value of the session variable is there other way for this. I read a post which he added fields for the email but it does not say where exactly should I get the session value.

    Hello, I'm using Data Pump to export/import data, one requirement is to import data to a sql file. The OS is window. I made the follow export : expdp system/password directory=dpump_dir dumpfile=tablesdump.dmp content=DATA_ONLY tables=user.tablename and it works, I can see the file TABLESDUMP.DMP in the directory path. then when I tried to import it to a sql file: impdp system/password directory=dpump_dir dumpfile=tablesdump.dmp sqlfile=tables_export.sql the log show : ..... ORA-31655 no data or metadata objects selected for job ..... and the sql file is created empty in the directory path. I'm not DBA, I'm a Java developer , Can you help me? Thks

This would seem to be OK... but I did some debugging, and inside the file /var/lib/gems/1.8/gems/shopify_app-4.1.0/lib/shopify_app.rb (at the top) by putting this: puts RUBY_VERSION exit It printed 1.8.7. **Why are ruby -v and RUBY_VERSION giving me different results? And am I correct in assuming this is the cause of my problems? Note: To upgrade Ruby I installed the later version with apt-get and then switched to it by using update-alternatives --config ruby and selecting option 2 like this: root@ubuntu:/usr/local/pete-shopify/cart# update-alternatives --config ruby There are 2 choices for the alternative ruby (providing /usr/bin/ruby).     Similar to Ubiquitous way to get the root directory an application is running in via C#, but that question seems to be related to Win Forms. How would the same be done for Web Forms? I was using... HttpContext.Current.Server.MapPath("~") This works great for handling HTTP requests but seems not to work if a scheduler like Quartz.NET invokes a job (the problem I am having). The HttpContext.Current is null in that scenario since an actual HTTP request is not made.

    Hi, I have a test application that opens a socket , sends something through this socket and then closes it . This is done in a loop for 5-10.000 times.     I am a beginner to C++/CLI as I come from a C# background. I am currently writing a wrapper for some native C++ code. I have the following methods: void AddToBlockList(System::String^ address) { char* cAddress = (char*)(void*)Marshal::StringToHGlobalAnsi(address); _packetFilter->AddToBlockList(cAddress); } void AddToBlockList(IPAddress^ address) { char* cAddress = (char*)(void*)Marshal::StringToHGlobalAnsi(address.ToString()); _packetFilter->AddToBlockList(cAddress); } ...The first method works fine and converts my string into the character array. However, the second function with the IPAddress object as the signiture gives me the following error: error C2228: left of '.ToString' must have class/struct/union ...When I type ? address.ToString() ...in the command window, the IP Address prints. Not sure where I'm going wrong. Any ideas?

    I am getting an error whenever i try to run following unzip command from a python script which is running as a daemon Command : unzip abcd.zip /dev/null Error End-of-central-directory signature not found$ a zip file, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive. In the latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on the last disk(s) of this archive unzip: cannot find zipfile directory in one of abcd.zip$ abcd.zip.zip, and cannot find abcd.zip.ZIP, period.     I am trying to use the ASP.NET (3.5) "Routing Module" functionality to create custom pages based on the contents of the URL. Various articles, such as this one: http://blogs.msdn.com/mikeormond/archive/2008/05/14/using-asp-net-routing-independent-of-mvc.aspx explain how to use ASP.NET Routing to branch to existing pages on the web server. What I would like to do is create the page on-the-fly using code. My first attempt looks like this: public class SimpleRouteHandler : IRouteHandler { public IHttpHandler GetHttpHandler(RequestContext requestContext) { string pageName = requestContext.RouteData.GetRequiredString("PageName"); Page myPage = new Page(); myPage.Response.Write("hello " + pageName); return myPage; } } But this throws an HTTPException saying "Response is not available in this context." at the Response.Write statement. Any ideas on how to proceed? UPDATE: In the end, I went with an approach based on IHttpModule, which turned out to be rather easy.

    I've been trying to create a specialised CMS, as none of the current open-source ones fit my needs for this project. I did my research on Google, tried multiple times but haven't got very far with this project. I'm trying to create a CMS for a TV/episode guide which is similar to this: (for some that don't have the :// just copy-and-paste and add it after http in the URL) http library.digiguide.com/lib/programmenextshowing/Police%2C+Camera%2C+Action!-12578 (one such example) - where records expire and delete from the database after expiration. This is the design I'm trying to emulate: http library.digiguide.com/lib/programme/24-84241/Drama/ - the programme http://library.digiguide.com/lib/episode/Under+Surveillance-714873 - a typical episode, could use .htaccess to remove php from name http library.digiguide.com/lib/programmenextshowing/24-84241 - paginated episode display (using script that I found in search here possibly) I don't have access to cron job as it's on Windows/Apache, so that's out the question for this one. I'm not sure how to go about this successfully, anyone got any advice? (Note:Although the linked site runs in ASP.NET, it's the design and feel of it I'm trying to emulate, except in PHP. I've managed to emulate that site's design, but with my own tweaks to it.)

R says that there is a missing value where true/false is required in: if (tabetest[i + position, "Date"] - tabetest[position, "Date"] > I have spent quite some time on that error but still don't understand where it comes from.   • ZooKeeper and RabbitMQ/Qpid together - overkill or a good combination?

    Greetings, I'm evaluating some components for a multi-data center distributed system. We're going to be using message queues (via either RabbitMQ or Qpid) so agents can make asynchronous requests to other agents without worrying about addressing, routing, load balancing or retransmission. In many cases, the agents will be interacting with components that were not designed for highly concurrent access, so locking and cross-agent coordination will be needed to avoid race conditions. Also, we'd like the system to automatically respond to agent or data center failures. With the above use cases in mind, ZooKeeper seemed like it might be a good fit. But I'm wondering if trying to use both ZK and message queuing is overkill. It seems like what Zookeeper does could be accomplished by my own cluster manager using AMQP messaging, but that would be hard to get really right. On the other hand, I've seen some examples where ZooKeeper was used to implement message queuing, but I think RabbitMQ/Qpid are a more natural fit for that. Has anyone out there used a combination like this? Thanks in advance, -Chris

  • Passing empty list as parameter to JPA query throws error

    If I pass an empty list into a JPA query, I get an error. For example: List<Municipality> municipalities = myDao.findAll(); // returns empty list em.createQuery("SELECT p FROM Profile p JOIN p.municipality m WHERE m IN (:municipalities)") .setParameter("municipalities", municipalities) .getResultList(); Because the list is empty, Hibernate generates this in SQL as "IN ()", which gives me error with Hypersonic database. There is a ticket for this in Hibernate issue tracking but there are not many comments/activity there. I don't know about support in other ORM products or in JPA spec either. I don't like the idea of having to manually check for null objects and empty lists every time. Is there some commonly known approach/extension to this? How do you handle these situations?

  • 10035 error on a blocking socket

    Does anyone have any idea what could cause a 10035 error (EWOULDBLOCK) when reading on a blocking socket with a timeout? This is under Windows XP using the .NET framework version 3.5 socket library. I've never managed to get this myself, but one of my colleagues is getting it all the time. He's sending reasonably large amounts of data to a much slower device and then waiting for a response, which often gives a 10035 error. I'm wondering if there could be issues with TCP buffers filling up, but in that case I would expect the read to wait or timeount. The socket is definitely blocking, not non-blocking.

    I added the EXSLT dates-and-times module in my XSLT 1.0 file by declaring: <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" ... xmlns:date="http://exslt.org/dates-and-times" extension-element-prefixes="date"> This doesn't affect my resulting page, but when I try to call the actual date with: <xsl:value-of select="date:date-time()"/> I receive an "Error loading stylesheet: An unknown error has occurred ()" message when loading my page. Does anyone have a suggestion as to what I might be missing? Thanks in advance!
