  I'm writing a .NET 3.5 application targetted for Windows Mobile 6.5. My application uses an embedded IE control to display content. The IE application allows the user to finger scroll around the webpage (i.e. touch the screen and drag instead of using the scrollbar). My IE control has a scrollbar and when I emulate the gesture, I highlight text instead of scrolling. Is there a way to add finger gesture support to an embedded IE control? Thanks, Aaron

  Whilst working in Silverlight I am always fighting the urge to work on the screen design rather than coding the behaviour (which is what I should be doing). My cunning plan is to find a theme that looks something like MS SketchFlow or Balsamiq which will remind me of the draft nature of the screens whilst being somewhat prettier than the default look & feel of Silverlight. Does anyone know of such a theme? Alternatively can anyone give advise on how they overcame there design addiction :) Thanks, Dan

• how can I get _NET_WORKAREA for seperate monitors

  using gdk_screen_get_monitor_geometry (xrandr) I can get the resolutions for separate monitors (for example when there are 2 monitors used as a single screen like nvidias twinview) However _NET_WORKAREA seems to give one giant area even if the resolution of the other monitor is smaller. (a panel at the bottom of the second monitor would appear to be inside this work area) How can I get the actual workarea of other monitors even getting struts there seems no support for separate monitors just the main one...

• How to line-wrap console output in NetBeans 6.8?

  Is there a way to make the console output text wrap based on the actual width of the window? I have limited screen height real estate on my laptop, and so want to have the console window docked on the right rather than the bottom of the window. An option or a plugin is fine, I'm using NetBeans 6.8. If this exists in a newer version of NetBeans, please say so, but I can't install a dev build.

If so, must they be displayed every time the name is mentioned, or is it sufficient to acknowledge the registration once (for example, in the application's splash screen or the introduction section of the user manual)?

  If I call "[NSString stringWithFormat:@"Testing \n %@",variableString]"; I get what I would expect, which is Testing, followed by a new line, then the contents of variableString. However, if i try NSString *testString = @"Testing \n %@"; //forgive shorthand here [NSString stringWithFormat,testString,variableString] the output actually literally writes \n to the screen instead of a newline. any workaround to this? seems odd to me

This seems really like an obvious way to do LaTeX authoring but it doesn't look like any software is able to do it. LyX is not what I'm looking for.   Suppose I have an HTML page with three blocks of fixed width (their height can vary if that's important), like shown on picture: I would like to make it behave as shown on next picture: when browser screen width is reduced so it can't fit all three blocks in one line, first block goes down.   My weird monitor's native resolution isn't recognized by Windows, so I have to set a custom resolution for it. The problem is that java doesn't recognize it since it's not on Win7's "approved" list, so full-screen mode gets "stuck". Netbeans comes out of full-screen fine, so there has to be a way around this. Anyone know it?
