    Hi All,   Sysprep creates a snapshot of a virtual machine with BizTalk Server 2010 installed for quick deployment on other virtual machines   Prerequisites Before using Sysprep, you should have some knowledge of using virtual machines with Hyper-V. You should also have a virtual machine with a clean, typical installation of BizTalk Server and all of its prerequisites. Sysprep will run on Windows Server 2008 and Windows Vista with SP1. Description Sysprep creates a VHD of a BizTalk Server 2010 installation (including the operating system and all prerequisites) for quick deployment on other virtual machines. An image created using Sysprep will choose a new computer name in order to join the domain the first time it starts. To get BizTalk Server running properly, it is necessary to update various instances of the computer name that are stored in the registry and databases. Here is output of 'vainfo' command: libva: VA-API version 0.32.0 libva: va_getDriverName() returns 0 libva: Trying to open /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/dri/i965_drv_video.so libva: va_openDriver() returns -1 vaInitialize failed with error code -1 (unknown libva error),exit I have Catalyst 12.6 driver installed (from debs). Also I've fixed switchable graphics bug, using this guide (STEP 2). I've tried to add 'LIBVA_DRIVER_NAME=xvba LIBVA_DRIVERS_PATH=/usr/lib/va/drivers' to /etc/environment and rebooted system, but the result was the same. PLEASE HELP! :) Thanks! :]

  • Entity Framework 4 - Generating Entities based on Views

    Just a quick post regarding a common issue and fix... When attempting to add a view as an entity to your model the EF generator may complain that it is unable to find or infer a primary key on your view. As a result, it will not add it to the model. The quick fix is to add the following to which ever column you wish to be the primary key within your view: ISNLL(TableA.ColumnA, -999) myPrimaryKeyColumnName Adding this will allow the EF generator to infer the primary key and add the view as an entity to your model.

    I've started learning bash scripting by using this guide: http://www.tldp.org/LDP/abs/abs-guide.pdf However I got stuck at the first script: cd /var/log cat /dev/null > messages cat /dev/null > wtmp echo "Log files cleaned up." What do lines 2 and 3 do in Ubuntu (I understand cat)? Is it only for other Linux distributions? After running this script as root, the output I get is Log files cleaned up. But /var/log still contains all the files.

    I got sick of the Bing Maps on WebOS not being able to find “coffee” when I’m in St. Paul.  Coffe Pk, TX anyone? – no thanks.  So I finally got around to installing PreWare on my Palm Pre 2.  The WebOS Quick Install doesn’t successfully download the novacom drivers.  You can find them here: http://downloads.help.palm.com/opensource/novacom/novacom-win-32.tgz http://downloads.help.palm.com/opensource/novacom/novacom-win-64-tgz Don’t bother trying the Novacom Universal Installer either.     I have an issue with Google Analytics, can't seem to find a guide how to activate Demographics and Interests reports.   • How does the EFI partition work and can I boot an x86 OS with a bootx64.efi file?

    I have a Thinkpad X230 laptop and I want to install Linux Mint Debian Edition along side Windows 7 on my GPT formatted SSD with the BIOS in UEFI mode. The problem is that I don't understand how EFI booting works. There seems to be an EFI partition involved with some folders and binary files in it. GRUB 2 seems to be able to make more folders in it (I followed this guide http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/UEFI_Firmware), but it appears that the only file that does anything is the bootx64.efi file in the /efi/boot folder of the EFI partition (I am not sure if this is always the case, but it appears to be the case for my laptop http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Category:X220). Here is what I have been able to do: I can install Linux Mint Debian Edition x86 with the BIOS in BIOS mode on my SSD. I can then install grub-efi and follow the guide linked above. The problem is that I don't get a GRUB prompt when I switch the BIOS to UEFI mode. It just boots Windows. It appears that I can either boot from the SSD or something called "Windows Boot Manager". If I replace the bootx64.efi with the file created by GRUB, I can no longer boot directly from the SSD. Booting from "Windows Boot Manager" still works fine. I realize that the guide says to use x64 Linux, but Linux Mint Debian Edition x64 hangs during the install process. I am really confused. What should I do? Can anyone explain how the EFI boot partition works? Can a bootx64.efi boot an x86 OS? Should I just give up with using UEFI? I haven't been able to find very much useful information about using Debian based operating systems with UEFI. Thanks, Ian

    I would like to ask if it's fine to use pf for all packet filtering (including using altq for traffic shaping) and ipfw's dummynet for bandwidth limiting certain IPs or subnets at the same time. I am using FreeBSD 10 and I couldn't find a definitive answer to this. Googling returns such results as: It works It doesn't work Might work but it's not stable and not recommended It can work as long as you load the kernel modules in the right order It used to work but with recent FreeBSD versions it doesn't You can make it work provided you use a patch from pfsense Then there's a mention that this patch might had been merged back to FreeBSD, but I can't find it. One certain thing is that pfsense uses both firewalls simultaneously so the question is, is it possible with stock FreeBSD 10 (and where to obtain the patch if it's still necessary).   • Dell fumbles OpenManage installation process, forgets to write documentation?

    Hi all, I'm setting up a Dell PowerEdge 2950 for a small business, and I've just spent a while with Dell OpenManage Server Administrator 6.2, trying to clear the installation process of errors before I execute it. Right now I'm getting the following warning from the installer. The installer has detected that the HTTPS listener is not configured for Windows Remote Management. You can either configure the HTTPS listener before installing Remote Enablement, or install Remote Enablement now by selecting the "Custom" installation screen and configure the HTTPS listener later. See the "Remote Enablement Requirements" section in the "Dell OpenManage Installation and Security User's Guide" for information on configuring the HTTPS listener. Note: Remote Enablement is required to manage this system from a remote Server Administrator Web Server and is applicable only for those systems that support Server Instrumentation. Click here to configure HTTPs Listener for Windows Remote Management. The italicized line is a link, which executes...something...via cmd, and doesn't seem to help the problem. Not knowing exactly what to do here, I consulted the documentation. I read through the Setup and Administration section of the User's Guide, but all that it contained was a weird primer on role-based security and some SNMP stuff. The next section skips installation entirely and moved on to features of the suite. Thinking myself crazy, I consulted the readme, which told me that for installation I should consult the "Dell OpenManage Installation and Security Version 6.2 User's Guide" which not only doesn't exist in the documentation, but also not in all of google? Soo yeah, if anyone is familiar with this problem, drop me some knowledge!

  • Web based file search in the lan?

    I would like to search files in my lan easily. (over 500k files on SMB shares, it would take ages with other ways) I mean, i just need to do a quick search on file names, i don't care content indexing at all, as most of my files are in a proprietary format, and the file name is explicative enough. But, date range filters are a must for me. I just need a quick search like voidtools' everything can do, but in a network way The files are on a WHS box (lol, Videos and Music share names are not appropriate for a company, but a license for that win2003-based os is cheaper than an xp home one!) I tried: Lansearch pro: it is not good for me, as i need a quick index Network Search Engine: it would be perfect, but does not offer a date range filter Microsoft Search Server 2008 Express, but it is horrible! First, does NOT index filenames, and then, my Core2Duo is not powerful enough to run it smoothly. Google Desktop with a proxy on localhost to make it run on the lan, but i don't like the hacked result. The preinstalled Windows Search 4.0 but it sucks totally in choosing the relevance of data - uninstalled Docco... what's that? I am considering to try: Ibm omnifind DocFetcher (can it work as a client? did not investigated yet) Strigi (it looks like that it can work as a client, right?) Any ideas/suggestions?
