  In Emacs, how does one emulate mouse button presses and the like using a keyboard? For example, with CEDET's Semantic (included with GNU Emacs 23.2.1), includes can be right clicked to provide a menu; how can I make that menu, and others, with the keyboard, appear as a tooltip or in the minibuffer a la M-` that allows one to access the menu bar?

• Ruby equivalent to "grep -C 5" to get context of lines around the match?

  I've searched for this a bit but I must be using the wrong terms - does ruby have a way to grep for a string/regex and also return the surrounding 5 lines (above and below)? I know I could just call "grep -C 5 ..."or even write my own method, but it seems like something ruby would have and I'm just not using the right search terms.

Would I need to set a delegate to call the action I need? Is there a way to catch the event in my main window controller class?
