  • Not receiving all message via TCP in Java?

    I have a tcp socket sending three lines like this out2.println("message1\n"); out2.println("message2\n"); out2.println("message3\n"); and another tco socket receiving and displaying these messages like this System.out.println(in.readLine()); System.out.println(in.readLine()); System.out.println(in.readLine()); but only the first message is recieved and displayed, anything I send after that is not.

  • jQuery not working on Popup Window

    I am using ASP.Net and jQuery + jQuery UI. Everything works fine with the jQuery on any other page, however when I create a popup window with window.open(...) jQuery seems to no longer function. I have all of the script files included on the Popup's Master page, so am not sure why it won't fire. Any Thoughts?

  • How do I oly show some nodes (edges) on graphviz and not others

    I have a very complex graph, and there is no way that I can show it all and understand it. I need to make simplified versions of it showing only some nodes and not others. I don't just want the other nodes to be invisible, but to really be absent (so that the graph is simplified). The solution would be to make a graph with only some layers. But is that possible?     Hi, Run into a strange problem while writing an ASP.NET MVC site. I have a view in my SQL Server database that returns a few date ranges. The view works fine when running the query in SSMS. When the view data is returned by the Entity Framework Model, It returns the correct number of rows but some of the rows are duplicated.     On Fedora Core 7, I'm writing some code that relies on ARG_MAX. However, even if I #include <limits.h>, the constant is still not defined. My investigations show that it's present in <sys/linux/limits.h>, but this is supposed to be portable across Win32/Mac/Linux, so directly including it isn't an option. What's going on here?

I am trying to include few data files along with the package.. here is my code.. from distutils.core import setup setup(name='Scrapper', version='1.0', description='Scrapper', packages=['app', 'db', 'model', 'util'], data_files=[('app', ['app/scrapper.db'])] ) The zip file created after executing python setup.py sdist does not include the scrapper.db file. I have scrapper.db file in the app directory.. thanks for the help.

    I have a situation where my subclass is not seeing the superclass' instance variable x. The ivar is obviously @protected by default, so why do I get a compiler error "x undeclared"? - (CGSize)hitSize { // Compiler error return size; } EDIT: hitSize is a property of a protocol my subclass is conforming to. The problem was that I had hitSize @synthesized, which was the culprit. The question then is why can't the synthesized getter see the ivar?
