• Ant target generate empty suite xml file

  I am using ant for my project and I have been trying to generate JUnit report using ant target. The problem I run in to is that at the end of the execution my TESTS-TestSuites.xml is empty. But all the other individual test xml files have data. And due to this my html reports are empty, in the sense results shows "0". • Command /Developer/usr/bin/dsymutil failed with exit code 10

  I am getting the above error message randomly (so far as I can tell) on iPhone projects. Occasionally it will go away upon either: Clean Restart XCode Reboot Reinstall XCode But sometimes it won't. When it won't the only solution I have found is to take all the source material, import it into a new project, and then redo all the connections in IB. Then I'm good until it strikes again. Anybody have any suggestions? [update 20091030] I have tried building both debug and release versions, both full and lite versions. I've also tried switching the debug symbols from DWARF with external dSYM file to DWARF and to stabs. Clean builds in all formats make no differences. Permission repairs change nothing. Setting up a new user has no effect. Same error on the builds. Thanks for the suggestions! [Update 20091031] Here's an easier and (apparently) reliable workaround. It hinges upon the discovery that the problem is linked to a target not a project In the same project file, create a new target Option-Drag (copy) all the files from the BAD target 'Copy Bundle Resources' folder to the NEW target 'Copy Bundle Resources' folder Repeat (2) with 'Compile Sources' and 'Link Binary With Libraries' Duplicate the Info.plist file for the BAD target and name it correctly for the NEW target. Build the NEW target! [Update 20100222] Apparently an IDE bug, now apparently fixed, although Apple does not allow direct access to the original bug of a duplicate. I can no longer reproduce this behaviour, so hopefully it is dead, dead, dead.

  Here is the setup: SQL Server 2008 Enterprise Server with a Merge Publication. SQL Server 2005 Express with pull subscription. There is no web or ftp setup. This is direct merge replication. Using the RMO objects from C#, I get a "class cannot be found." COM Error when accessing the MergePullSubscription.SynchronizationAgent property. I've tried with both the 2008 RMO dll's (version 10 dll's) and the 2005 RMO dll's (version 9 dll's). • Speed Problem - Animating Height Change in UITableView

  So I have a huge UITableView, between 1000 and 3000 rows. Each row needs to, when selected, expand to include several buttons. I do this by rendering the buttons below the cell, enabling clipping on the cells, and then just animating a change in height when they're selected. So I have heightForRowAtIndex checking if the row is selected, if so it gives a different height value. To do the animation, I have the following: - (void) tableView: (UITableView *) tableView didSelectRowAtIndexPath: (NSIndexPath *) indexPath { [self.tableView beginUpdates]; [self.tableView endUpdates]; } This all works wonderfully until I get around 1000 rows, at which point the animations still work and are still quite smooth, but they lag by a second or two. My first thought was a memory problem, but everything is being autoreleased and upon inspection my application isn't even receiving a memory warning message. So...any ideas on what this might be and how I can erase this lag between selection and change in cell height? Oh, and one last thing - right now I'm testing this on the iPad, so if this is a problem there, I expect it to be worse on our other target devices (iPhone and iPod).

• Core Data Migration - "Can't add source store" error

  Hi, In my iPhone app I'm using Core Data and I've made changes to my data model that cannot be automatically migrated over (i.e. added new relationships). I added the data model version (Design - Data Model - Add Model Version) and applied my new data model changes to the new version 2. I then created a mapping object model and set the Source and Destination models to their correct data models (old and new respectively). When I run the app and call the persistentStoreCoordinator, my app barfs with the following: 2010-02-27 02:40:30.922 XXXX[73578:20b] Unresolved error Error Domain=NSCocoaErrorDomain Code=134110 UserInfo=0xfc2240 "Operation could not be completed. (Cocoa error 134110.)", { NSUnderlyingError = Error Domain=NSCocoaErrorDomain Code=134130 UserInfo=0xfbb3a0 "Operation could not be completed. (Cocoa error 134130.)"; reason = "Can't add source store"; } FWIW (not much i think) I've also made the usual code changes in persistentStoreCoordinator to use the NSMigratePersistentStoresAutomaticallyOption and NSInferMappingModelAutomaticallyOption (for future data model changes that can be automatically migrated). More relevantly, my managedObjectModel is created by calling initWithContentsOfURL where the file/resource type is "momd". I've tried updating both the source and destination model in the mapping model (Design - Mapping Model - Update XXX Model) as well as deleted the mapping model and recreated it. I've cleaned and re-built but all to no avail. I still get the above error message. Any pointers/thoughts on how I can further debug or resolve this problem please? I haven't posted any code snippets because this feels much more like a build environment issue (and my code is very standard - just the usual core data code to handle migrations using a mapping model but I'm happy to show the code if it helps). • Images missing after moving Django to new server

  I'm moving Django project to new server. I'm newbie in Django, and I don't know where should be upload folder. There are all images which should be displayed on website. In config file I haven't seen upload folder I could specify, so I'm guessing it always should be the same location for django projects or I just can't find it. Locations are saved in database. When I've put uploaded files into media folder, so url was like domain.co.uk/media/upload/media/images/year/month/day/image_name.ext and the same is on the old website, images on website ware still missing. All images are visible if I put url by hand, but django doesn't seems to see files. • Encrypting with Perl CBC and decrypting with PHP mcrypt

  I have an encrypted string that was encrypted with Perl Crypt::CBC (Rijndael,cbc). The original plaintext was encrypted with encrypt_hex() method of Crypt::CBC. $encrypted_string = '52616e646f6d49567b2c89810ceddbe8d182c23ba5f6562a418e318b803a370ea25a6a8cbfe82bc6362f790821dce8441a790a7d25d3d9ea29f86e6685d0796d'; I have the 32 character key that was used. mcrypt is successfully compiled into PHP, but I'm having a very hard time trying to decrypt the string in PHP. I keep getting gibberish back. If I unpack('H*', $encrypted_string), I see 'RandomIV' followed by what looks like binary. I can't seem to correctly extract the IV and separate the actual encrypted message.   I've got a small winform application that I've written that is running fine in the IDE. It builds with no errors or warnings. It's not using any third party controls. I'm coding in C# in Visual Studio 2008. When I Build -- Publish the application, everything seems to work fine. However, when I go and attempt to install the application via the setup.exe file I get an error message that says, "Application cannot be started." • Playing online video on iphone web, the iphone seems to cache the reference movie

  We are working on an online mobile video app, and are trying to play a reference movie on an iphone from the iphone browser. The problem is, the movie plays the first time, but when we try to play a different movie the second time, it doesnt. Quicktime gives a general error message sayin "Cannot Play Movie". More precisely this is what we are trying to do: Connect with an iPhone to a webserver that serves a reference movie (generated with quicktime pro). The ref movie automatically gets downloaded to the iphone by quicktime. Quicktime then chooses one of the 3 references in the reference movie, based on the connection speed, and tries to download the designated movie via a relative path. A servlet gets called and forwards the relative path to the right movie. This all works the first time. However the second time when we want download different movies, we get the quicktime error. Test case: Open reference movie 1 Movie plays in Quicktime Open reference movie 2 ERROR: Quicktime gives an error - Cannot Play Movie Shut down Iphone Turn Iphone on again Open reference movie 2 Iphone plays movie Open movie ERROR: Quicktime gives an error - Cannot Play Movie Did anyone encounter similar issues with quicktime and the use of reference movies and is there something we can do to work around that?

My call works fine, I have a two way channel that reports back some events from the server and I am receiving the events. • Writing files in App_Data causes tempdata to be null

  I have a small asp.net MVC 1 web app that can store files and create directories in the App_Data directory. When the write operation succeeds, I add a message to the tempdata and do a redirectToRoute. The problem is that the tempdata is null when the action is executed. If i write the files in a directory outside of the web applications root directory, the tempdata is not null and everything works correctly. Any ideas why writing in the app_data seems to clear the tempdata ? edit: if DRS.Logic.Repository.Manager.CreateFile(path, hpf, comment) writes in the App_Data, TempData will be null in the action being redirected to. if it is a directory out of the web app root it is fine. No exceptions are being thrown.   I want to create a display group generated from foreach() clause output. I can't seem to get the syntax correct. Here's the business logic: for each category row find the associated fees output the category description as a label and the fees as radio buttons then create a display group with the fees as the group elements and the category description as the legend.   Hi all: I am just starting to write ruby rails. I wrote a controller but is getting wrong number of "arguments (1 for 0)" error, I can't understand why. It has no information on where the error occurred? It has a full list of stack traces but my controller file is not in there! In my controller I have just two methods, that I was going to test out activemq. But after I put the controller out, I got the above error, so I commented out all the code, but I still get the same error. I can't figure out why. I searched google for ruby debug, I have not found anything helpful. • IE History Tracking, IFRAMES, and Cross Domain error...

  So here's the deal. We have a Flash application that is running within an HTML file. For one page we call a legacy reporting system in ASP.NET that is within an IFRAME. This page then communicates back to the Flash application using cross-domain scripting (document.domain = "domain" is set in both pages. THIS ALL WORKS. Now the kicker. Flash has history tracking enabled. This loads the history.js file that created a div tag to store page changes so the back and forward buttons work in the browser. Which works for Firefox and Chrome as they create a div tag. HOWEVER In Internet Explorer, history.js creates another IFRAME (instead of a DIV) called ie_historyFrame. When the ScriptResource.axd code attempts to access this with: var frameDoc = this._historyFrame.contentWindow.document; we get an "Access is Denied" error message. ARGH! We've tried getting a handle to this IFRAME and inserting the document.domain code. FAIL. We've tried editing the historytemplate.html file that flex also uses to include document.domain... FAIL. I've tried to edit the underlying ASP.NET page to disable history tracking in the ScriptManager control. FAIL. At my wit's end on this one. We have users who need to use IE to access this site. They are big clients who we cannot tell to just use Firefox. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

• Capture keystrokes (e.g., function keys) while a messagebox is up

  We have a large WinForms app, and there is a built-in bug reporting system that can be activated during testing via the F5 Key. I am capturing the F5 key with .Net's PreFilterMessage system. This works fine on the main forms, modal dialog boxes, etc. Unfortunately, the program also displays windows messageboxes when it needs to. When there is a bug with that, e.g., wrong text in the messagebox or it shouldn't be there, the messagefilter isn't executed at all when the messagebox is up! I realize I could fix it by either rewriting my own messagebox routine, or kicking off a separate thread that polls GetAsyncKeyState and calls the error reporter from there. However I was hoping for a method that was less of a hack.
