  The function "WriteStartElement" does not return anything. I find this a little bizzare. So up until now I have been doing it like this. Does anybody know the correct way of doing this because I'm pretty sure what I'm doing isn't right. I tried to use xmlWriter.AppendChild() but it doesnt seem to write out anything. :(

Value cannot be null. Parameter name: languageTag What's the problem? Isn't this how to POST JSON to an MVC Controller? I can examine the POST using Fiddler and see that the request is correct. For some reason, UpdateLanguagePreference() is getting a null or empty string.

• Axis2 issue with comment in WSDL

  I'm using an Axis2 client to access an external Webservice, whose WSDL starts with the following content: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><!--Created by TIBCO WSDL--><wsdl:definitions xmlns:wsdl=... My call to sendReceive crashes with the following error: com.ctc.wstx.exc.WstxUnexpectedCharException: Unexpected character 'C' (code 67) in prolog; expected '<' The 'C' is the first character on the comment in the WSDL. Without that comment everything works fine, but as far as my knowledge of basic XML dictates that comment is correct. My question would be: Is this a bug in Axis2 or is the accessed WSDL malformed? Is there any way to prevent Axis2 from crashing under these circumstances?

  Hi guys, I have to load some url with cyrillic symbols. How to decode correctly this url? When I'm using that url directly in code, like address = 'that address', it works perfect. But I used parsing page for getting this url. I have a list of urls which contents cyrillic. Maybe they have uncorrect encoding? Whenever I try to validate it.. it gives me error at <wsdl:operation name="ComposedClassOpt"> complete definition is below... that "The operation specified for the 'Binding' binding is not defined for port type 'ComposedClassPortType'. • Problem With View Helpers

  I wrote few custom view helpers but I have a little trouble using them. If I add the helper path in controller action like this: public function fooAction() { $this->view->addHelperPath('My/View/Helper', 'My_View_Helper'); } Then I can use the views from that path without a problem.   I have this pseudo-code in java: bytes[] hash = MD5.hash("example"); String hexString = toHexString(hash); //This returns something like a0394dbe93f bytes[] hexBytes = hexString.getBytes("UTF-8"); Now, hexBytes[] and hash[] are different. I know I'm doing something wrong since hash.length() is 16 and hexBytes.length() is 32. Maybe it has something to do with java using Unicode for chars (just a wild guess here). Anyways, the question would be: how to get the original hash[] array from the hexString.   Here's the gist: I have a call I want to make in asp, and I do not care about the response. I just want to fire the call and I do not want the page to wait for the response. According to the documentation, it should look something like this: dim xmlhttp : set xmlhttp = Server.CreateObject("MSXML2.ServerXMLHTTP") xmlhttp.Open "POST", url, true '' setting the 'asynchronous' option to 'true' xmlhttp.setRequestHeader "Content-Type", "application/soap+xml; charset=utf-8" xmlhttp.setRequestHeader "Content-Length", Len(XMLData) xmlhttp.send XMLData This works peachy when calling synchronously, but when I flip the ansynchronous option to 'true', nothing fires. What I can gather from the internet is that users do something like the following: While xmlhttp.readyState <> 4 xmlhttp.waitForResponse 1000 Wend Am I crazy in that this does not really seem like an asynchrous call anymore though if you are waiting for a response? putting the line xmlhttp.waitForResponse 1 right after the send will cause the request to fire, but again, I don't want to wait a second. Any thoughts?

  I'm currently looking into different options for unit testing Silverlight applications. One of the frameworks available is the Silverlight Unit Test Framework from Microsoft (developed primary by Jeff Wilcox, http://www.jeff.wilcox.name/2010/05/sl3-utf-bits/). One of the scenarios I'm looking into is running the same tests on both Silverlight 3 (PC) and Windows Phone 7. The Silverlight Unit Test Framework (SLUT) runs on both PC and phone. To prevent having to copy or link files I would like to put my tests into a shared test library, that can be loaded by either a WP7 application using the SLUT, or a Silverlight 3 application using SLUT. So my question is: will SLUT load unit tests defined in a referenced class library, or only in the executing assembly?

• Content-type not working in PHP

  Hi everyone, I have some issues with a PHP file that is not working properly. The Content-type does not get recieved by any browser at all. Firebug interprets the file as text/html instead of css. Here's the file : <?php header('Content-Type: text/css; charset=UTF-8'); error_reporting(E_ALL | E_STRICT); ini_set('display_errors', 'On'); /* CSS goes on from here */ I tested to put a row with echo 'TEST'; before the header line, and was expecting to see the classic "headers already sent" error, but nothing appears! What can I do to sort this out?

  I am using the code as below of this post: First i will an fill array variable with the correct values for the controller action. Using the code below i think it should be very straigtforward by just adding the following line to the javascript: data["__RequestVerificationToken"] = $('[name=__RequestVerificationToken]').val(); The <%= Html.AntiForgeryToken() %> is at his right place and the action has a [ValidateAntiForgeryToken] But my controller action keeps saying: "Invalid forgery token" What am i doing wrong here?   Hi. I m trying to display html file contains with loadDataWithBaseURL() method in android.. I m Just contains Html file data in one String source object then pass it to the method. for e.g String source; //contain html tags with images View.loadDataWithBaseURl(null,source,"text/html","UTF-8","about:blank"); The data displayed in view is fine. My problem is if my html file contains any images then I couldn't displayed it? how can I do that? Can anybody help me?

• What HTTP headers are required to refresh a page on back button.

  I'm trying to get a page to refresh when navigated to from the back button. From what I understand after reading around a bit I should just need to mark the page as uncacheable but I can't get any browsers to refresh the page.
