• Windows LiveID "Couldn't sign you out" error at sign-out

  I'm implementing LiveID authentication on my website. I've done it before, but not on this particular platform, MojoPortal. The sign-in works properly, but when I attempt to sign-out, I get the error message quoted below. My browser is not blocking cookies. I get the same message when logging in to and out of, say, MSDN with a LiveID too now. I can't figure out if there's something about my site's programming that is interfering with the sign-out process of LiveID (since I believe that all (recent?) websites get sent a sign-out command) OR if live.com is just having issues lately and this is a coincidence. • QuickReport.ExportToFilter throws "stack overflow" error when used in TWebModule

  I have a web application using the TWebModule component. It runs as a module on Apache. The code below throws a "Stack Overflow" error on the ExportToFilter. The same exact code works fine from a Winforms Application and even a service for that matter. • XmlSerializer - There was an error reflecting type

  Using C# .NET 2.0, I have a composite data class that does have the [Serializable] attribute on it. I am creating an XMLSerializer class and passing that into the constructor: XmlSerializer serializer = new XmlSerializer(typeof(DataClass)); I am getting an exception saying: There was an error reflecting type. Inside the data class there is another composite object. Does this also need to have the [Serializable] attribute or by having it on the top object does it recursively apply it to all objects inside? Any thoughts?

  When trying to call (DLLImport) an external c++ dll from a .net application that has a manifest file with requireAdministrator, I get this error trying to call function from the C++ dll in Windows 7 with UAC enabled. Method I am calling: EnCrypts System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. • ASP.Net error: “The type ‘foo’ exists in both ”temp1.dll“ and ”temp2.dll" (pt 2)

  I'm experiencing the same problem as in this question, but none of the answers fixed my problem. (edit: Setting the web.config batch attribute works, but that's a coverup, not a solution) The problem I'm having is with a User Control that I moved from the root directory to a subdirectory within the same Web Application project. It used to work fine before I moved it. When I moved it it started giving me the error message. It's saying that the class name exists in two dll files in Temporary ASP.NET Files. Sure enough, when I open Reflector, it's in two dlls. If I rename the class and ascx file, everything works fine. No usages of the original name exist within any of the files in my entire application. When I rename the file, I opened all of the dll files in Temporary ASP.NET Files with Reflector, and no references to the original class name exists. So where's this phantom reference coming from how can I fix this?

  My site is using enterprise library v 5.0. Mainly the DAAB. Some functions such as executescalar, executedataset are working as expected. • Visual Studio unable to open Web site error

  Hello, I work with Visual Studio 2008 and work on a web project which contains a web site. When opening the solution file, I receive the error message: "Unable to open the Web site http://localhost/myWebsite.de. The Web site http://localhost/myWebsite.de does not exist." I can see the web site greyed out, with the remark "unavailable", in the solution folder. It is possible to add the web site to the solution, but after relaunching Visual Studio, it´s gone again. Has anyone had this problem in a similar way?

• WAMP Apache 403 Forbidden error

  I have recently changed from Windows XP to Windows 7 and have reinstalled WAMP server on my localhost testing pc. I have copied over my backup site too and this is working correctly. I have installed tinyMCE javascript editor as well as ajaxfilemanager. Everything works except when accessing a file i get the following error: Forbidden You don't have permission to access /catalog/admin/includes/javascript/tinymce/plugins/ajaxfilemanager/ajaxfilemanager.php on this server. I can access this file/folder through Windows explorer and all other parts of my site works (php, js in other section etc). Thanks for any help!

• Pass dataset to subreport with SQL Server Reporting Services

  I'm using SQL Server Reporting Services and the report designer that comes with Visual Studio. I've got a really big report. It's actually so large that Visual Studio hangs (sometimes for hours at a time) or just crashes when I make changes. There is preciously little I can do to solve the problem, so I've decided to just move the bottom half of the report into a sub-report. So, I started with one enormous, unresponsive report and ended with two small, manageable reports -- surprisingly, this actually works. One problem: my subreport uses the same data as my main report. Right now, it populates its dataset by re-querying the database. The extra round-trip to the database causes the report to take twice as long to generate; up from 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hours to generate. I'd like to avoid hitting the database again, and instead use the same dataset in both reports. How can I share or pass a dataset between a report and subreport?

• iPhone: Application Install Fails With "Invalid Signer" Error

  The iPhone is attached to a Mac runnning the latest iTunes version and I am 100% sure that her UDID is in the provisioning file. Her iPhone has not been jailbroken and we even restored it to factory settings. I am having trouble installing our development build on this one iPhone. The error is: the application "[Application Name]" was not installed on the iPhone "iPhone" because the signer is not valid I am 100% sure that the UDID is accurately entered in the provisioning file and that they correctly copied the right provision file/build combo. This same combo has been successfully installed on over a dozen iphones. We have been able to install this on some devices with no problems. Edit: From comments to an answer: We can install it on 100 iphone with our account. We have about 40 iphones in this provisioning profile and it works on 38 of them.

  I am using NHibernate, and am trying to figure out how to write a query, that searchs all the names of my entities, and lists the results. • Config transformations and “TransformXml task failed” error message

  I’ve just enabled config transformations on a .NET 3.5 project in VS2010 RC after watching Scott Hanselman’s video on web deployment. Unfortunately every time I go to publish I now get the following error: The "TransformXml" task failed unexpectedly. • Get an IDataReader from a typed List

  I have a List<MyObject> with a million elements. (It is actually a SubSonic Collection but it is not loaded from the database). I'm currently using SqlBulkCopy as follows: private string FastInsertCollection(string tableName, DataTable tableData) { string sqlConn = ConfigurationManager.ConnectionStrings[SubSonicConfig.DefaultDataProvider.ConnectionStringName].ConnectionString; using (SqlBulkCopy s = new SqlBulkCopy(sqlConn, SqlBulkCopyOptions.TableLock)) { s.DestinationTableName = tableName; s.BatchSize = 5000; s.WriteToServer(tableData); s.BulkCopyTimeout = SprocTimeout; s.Close(); } return sqlConn; } I use SubSonic's MyObjectCollection.ToDataTable() to build the DataTable from my collection. However, this duplicates objects in memory and is inefficient. I'd like to use the SqlBulkCopy.WriteToServer method that uses an IDataReader instead of a DataTable so that I don't duplicate my collection in memory. What's the easiest way to get an IDataReader from my list? I suppose I could implement a custom data reader (like here http://blogs.microsoft.co.il/blogs/aviwortzel/archive/2008/05/06/implementing-sqlbulkcopy-in-linq-to-sql.aspx) , but there must be something simpler I can do without writing a bunch of generic code. Edit: It does not appear that one can easily generate an IDataReader from a collection of objects. Accepting current answer even though I was hoping for something built into the framework.

  Using Visual Studio 2008 I first encountered this when trying to open a standard save file dialog box in visual basic. So far I've worked around it after fruitless searching. Now I find that any action which would cause a save/open dialog (eg. ctrl-O) also fails. I've searched more and still don't know how to fix it. Stuff I do know: It's not a Visual Studio error, it apparently can occur in any number of other applications (which is why searching for it is annoying) It's either .NET or COM related, I tried reinstalling all of .NET with no luck, and I've never mucked around with COM ever, I don't really even know what it is. Something is missing, misplaced, or it could be DLL version issues. I really don't want to deal with uninstalling VS2008, or MS Office (as one result I found suggested) or any other big application.

I am passing several Select statements, so the dataset contains multiple tables. I replaced $DataSet.Tables[0] with for ($i=0;$i -lt $DataSet.tables.count;$i++){ $Dataset.Tables[$i] } but the console only shows the content of the first table and blank lines for each records of what should be the second table. The only way to see the result is to change the code to $Dataset.Tables[$i] | out-string but I do not want strings, I want to have table objects to work with. When I assign what is returned by the Invoke-SQLCommand to a variable, I can see that I have an array of datarow objects but only from the first table. What happened to the second table? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

• Resque Runtime Error at /workers: wrong number of arguments for 'exists' command

  I'm having a runtime errror when i'm looking at the "workers" tab on resque-web (localhost). Everything else works. Edit: when this error occurs, i also have some (3 or 4) unknown workers 'not working'. I think they are responsible for the error but i don't understand how they got here Can you help me on this ? Did i do something wrong ? • AVR sbi command - Error: number must be positive and less than 32

  I've spent a good while getting my AVR development system set up with the full GCC tool chain (everything is the most recent current stable version) and I have solved most issues with it but one. This following code gives me an error which I just don't get. The AVR assembly manual states that the sbi instruction can accept 0-7 as a constant expression but it still errors out on me.   Late last week I upgraded CC.NET locally and on the build server. The build server is still fine, but locally I am now getting the following error: Exception Details: Exortech.NetReflector.NetReflectorTypeLoadException: Unable to load types from assembly System.ServiceModel, Version=3.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089: Failed to load 1 of the 3612 types defined in the assembly.   I am supporting an ASP.Net 3.5 web application and users are experiencing a timeout error after 30 seconds when trying to run a report. Looking around the web it seems it's easy enough to change the timeout in the code, unfortunately I'm not able to access the code and recompile. Is there anyway to configure the default for either the web app, the worker process, IIS or the whole machine? I've compared the machine.config and web.config files from the .Net directory on the live and test and they seem the same, compared the two IIS setups, also looked at the SQL Server configuration and the only difference is that the live server is clustered on 64bit W2K3 while the test server is on 32bit.

  Hello! So... here's my story: I'm trying to create a SQL server data extension (to be precise, I'm trying to get some sample code to run) (SSRS2005). I've done the following: Placed the extension assembly into the ReportServer/bin folder. Placed the assembly into the Private Assemblies folder. Modified rsreportserver.config in, and added the assembly info to the data section. Modified rssrvpolicy.config, and added a code group for the assembly with Full Trust. Modified RSReportDesigner.config in PrivateAssemblies. Added the assembly to the data and the designer sections, specifying the generic query designer. Modified RSPreviewPolicy.config. Added the assembly with Full Trust. The new Data Source type is available for selection, but when I try to view the dataset I get this error: The data extension DataSet could not be loaded. Check the configuration file RSReportDesigner.config. The location of the assembly is configured properly (I think), because I've added logging code and I can see that the constructor of the Connection object is being called. In fact, I've added logging code to every method of every class in the assembly, and as far as I can tell the failure occurs right after the connection object's constructor is called. Any ideas on how I might proceed to debug this? Thanks alot!
