  • Can't change Joomla Default language

    On this site http://www.bostonteaclub.com I want the default language to be Chinese. I set the default language to Chinese in the backend (it's got the star next to it) but when you went to the page you probably noticed that the site is in english. If you check the source code you will see on the very bottom hidden a var_dump of the language object, and by the looks of it the default is still en-GB ["_default"]=> string(5) "en-GB" Why is this?   • How do you get the host address and port from a System.Net.EndPoint?

    I'm using a TcpClient passed to me from a TcpListener, and for the life of me I can't figure out a simple way to get the address and port it's connected to. The best I have so far is _client.Client.RemoteEndPoint.ToString(); which returns a string in the form FFFF::FFFF:FFFF:FFF:FFFF%00:0000. I've managed to extract the address and port using Regular Expressions, but this seems like overkill. What am I missing?

  • Sqlite issues with HTC Desire HD

    Recently I have been getting a lot of complaints about the HTC Desire series and it failing while invoking sql statements. I have received reports from users with log snapshots that contain the following. I/Database( 2348): sqlite returned: error code = 8, msg = statement aborts at 1: [pragma journal_mode = WAL;] E/Database( 2348): sqlite3_exec to set journal_mode of /data/data/my.app.package/files/localized_db_en_uk-1.sqlite to WAL failed followed by my app basically burning in flames because the call to open the database results in a serious runtime error that manifests itself as the cursor being left open. There shouldn't be a cursor at this point as we are trying to open it. This only occurs with the HTC Desire HD and Z. My code basically does the following (changed a little to isolate the problem area).     Hi all, I'd like to add my custom control into a template column of data grid. The custom control is very similar to a text box, but has an icon in it. The user can click the icon, and selects an item from a prompted window, then the selected item will be filled into the text box. My problem is when the text box is filled, after I click the second column, the text will disappear. If I replace the custom control with a simple text box, the result is the same.     It is well known that cin is not typesafe (e.g. cin integer; and entering "fifty five" will cause it to flip out). I have seen many not-so-elegant ways to hand this, such as getlining a string and using sstream to convert it to a number, or looping with cin.fail() and clearing the stream and reentering it, etc. Is there any library or anyway to overload the inserter operator to make cin automatically typesafe?

This endless loop is starting to eat up alot of column space in my tables.
