I've installed on the laptop another protection "Symantec Endpoint Protection".   • Remote desktop session not picking up the extra tray in my printer

    We have a Brother HL-5340D printer with an extra tray installed. The driver is configured locally and is working with the extra tray. However, when I connect into the server (which has the same driver installed), the server is not able to print to the other tray and the printing preferences do not actually show it either. Any ideas?

    Here is the setup: Router Windows XP 32-bit Windows 7 64-bit The XP machine has a Lexmark printer physically attached. I have installed the x64 drivers for the printer installed in Windows 7. When I try to print to the printer on the Windows 7 machine, it doesn't work - I get an error: Windows cannot connect to the printer. Error 0x0000000d I have made sure UDP/TCP ports 135-139 are unblocked on the Windows 7 machine.

  • installing SNMP in Windows x32 Customized Image

    I'm working in a environment of 40 machines, I've already installed snmp in 38 machines normally, but 2 of them appear to have been installed with a customized windows image, there is no OptionalFeatures, there is no ocsetup.exe, so I could not able to install SNMP. I tried to copy OptionalFeatures and ocsetup from another machine, but it don't work. For now I cannot simple format these two computer, it's possible to install it using another way?     I have gVim installed. Under Vista and XP, this offered me an addition to either the object context menu of "Edit with gVim", or an addtion to the "Open With" context menu of "gVim". This would let me send arbitrary files to gVim for editing. Under Windows 7 64-bit, I have installed gVim -- twice, as it happens -- and there's no menu item. How do I add an option to send arbitrary files to gVim for viewing/editing?

    Hello, I installed Ubunut and got the LAMP stack installed too. Now the problem is I have to be connected to the internet for the local apache webserver to work, else it does not.   • Nginx giving a lot of 502 errors

    Since a while I have installed nginx and everything seemed to be working fine, recently I found out that about 20% of the time users are getting 502-errors. This is also noticable when Google tries to crawl my site in Webmaster Tools (from 10000 posts, approx. 2000 502 errors) At first I was thinking to disable nginx, but I'd really like to keep using it. I'm running it on a server with 2GB RAM and 4 Reserved CPU Cores. WHM/cPanel installed and Mod_Ruid2 enabled + DSO as a PHP Handler with APC caching installed. Is there anything I can change in the config, that can fix this?
