Splashing Liquid Using Cocos2d

I am new to game development in iOS. My problem is that I want to give a water splash effect on the screen as like someone has just randomly thrown water from any corner of the screen. I will be grateful to know any tutorials, or libraries that wil help me achieving this effect.
