I've multiple xsl:if checks like <xsl:if test="node/node1"> ...</xsl:if> ... <xsl:if test="node/node1"> ...</xsl:if> ... <xsl:if test="node/node1"> ... </xsl:if> Is there a way to parameterize the test condition to make the code more readable and easy to maintain? Maybe with a variable or something like <xsl:variable name="node1Present" select="true()"/> <xsl:if test="$node1Present"> ... </xsl:if> I don't understand how to construct the variable to reflect the 'test a node exist' (test="node/node1")

  • Objectdatasource and Gridview : Sorting, paging, filtering

    Hi there, Im using entity framework 1.0 and trying to feed out a Gridview with a objectdatasource that have access to my facade. The problem is, that it seems to be particulary difficult and haven't seen anything that realy do what i want it to do on the internet. For those who know, a gridview feeded with an objectdatasource, it can't sort automaticaly then you must do it manually. It's not that bad. Where it becomes a nightmare, its when we add paging and filter settings to a gridview's datasource. After many hours searching on the internet, i'm asking you, guys, if anyone knows a link that can explain me how to mix Pagging, Sorting and filtering for a gridview and an objectdatasource! Thanks in advance and sorry for my english.

  • Why does copying a file using FileInfo.CopyTo creates the destination copied file as readonly ?

    I have two folders in my asp.net web application in which I create new folders programmaticaly. The entire solution is under VSS source control. I was not able to manipulate these two folders programmably. For that, I gave {MACHINE}\ASPNET user account full control over these two folders. Still, the "access denied to the path" error was coming. I saw that these entire folders were marked readonly. I tried to uncheck Readonly from explorer but not successfull, readonly check does not get removed. Also, if I copy files using method, the destinationn copied file becomes readonly. I have also tried File.SetAttributes(path,FileAttributes.Normal); but no success. How can I make the copied file not READONLY ?

I am trying to correct a problem with my blog and google “not found” URLs. I thought it might be very simple to correct (!ha!)   • how to enable mac like task bar in Windows 7

    I have recently got a laptop with windows 7 installed and it is showing normal task bar at bottom and one taskbar with glass like background (I think I seen similar one in either mac or ubuntu) which have the icons for accessing internet, email, mediaplayer. But after sometime it suddenly disappeared and I don't know how to get it back? I don't even know what it is called ;( Can anybody please help?

  • How do I image my hard drive for backup? Or do I just need to backup the files?

    I have never imaged a hard drive, so I don't know what software to use or how to prepare my system for imaging. Is this the best way to backup? In the past, I've always just kept a copy of my important files on an external drive and in Gmail or DropBox for smaller stuff, but it would be nice to just take one image and restore from that if something ever goes wrong. Thanks for the help. EDIT: I'm sorry, I forgot to mention the OS. I would like to do this for my home and work computers, which are Vista and XP respectively. And actually I'm about to upgrade to Windows 7 at home, so details on that would be appreciated too.

  • PHP script keeps doing mmap/munmap

    Hello, My PHP script contains a loop, which does nothing much more than echoing and dereferencing pointers (like in $tab[$othertab[$i]]- stuff). It was working great until yesterday, when this script starting being VERY slow (like 50 times slower than before). After using strace, i figured out that 90% of the time, the script does mmap/munmap. I played with my debian server, and i messed up apache2; Now i want to completely* remove it from the server and then reinstall it as new. *for completely i really mean completely, logs, configurations, settings, everythings! I followed the steps suggested by freedom_is_chaos in this answer, and i guess apache2 is nomore installed, becose if i do apt-get remove apache2 i get this: Reading package lists...
