  • Good Slideshow DVD programs?

    I want to burn a bunch of pictures to a DVD slideshow. However, Google reveals that there are tons of software programs that claim to do this. Can anyone recommend one of them without me having to download 20 of them only to discover half don't work and the other half are free trials to $29 software that doesn't work either? The only one which I have tried out so far is DVD Slideshow GUI, which is simply a mess of programs. It was free, but it crashed a whole bunch, spit errors at me when i tried to preview and never worked when I tried to export the slideshow to mpg.

  • Cannot paste web page images in Word 2010

    I am unable to paste web page images into word 2010 - Selecting some text and images on a web page and pasting into word just results in a box on the page. The following question http://superuser.com/questions/132723/cannot-paste-words-with-pictures-in-ms-word-2010 says the solution is to use paste special and select HTML. This does not work when I try it. copying and pasting individual images does not work either.

  • LINQ to Sql: Insert instead of Update

    I am stuck with this problems for a long time now. Everything I try to do is insert a row in my DB if it's new information - if not update the existing one.   • Design report of 4-D data set

    I'm writing a report generator that will present data each being generated from 4 parameters. Time interval Group Measurement value(one of several to choose from) Device All these are orthogonal giving me a 4-D dataset to present. There are some simplifications where one parameter is the same for all and other parameters are merged. Still it appears as there are situations where all values are wanted on the report. In short the report should both be simple to overview and contain details. There will also be an interface where the user setup the range and granularity for each parameter. The most naive solution would be to have a 2D table where each cell contain another table with values of the remaining two dimensions. This is technically feasible but I'm worried that it would become hard to overview. Another approach is to present first two dimensions in a 2D table and the remaining parameters in groups Are there any good method to address this kind of issue?

  • How to use TabBar in a iPhone Navigation template

    My app contain 20 to 25 views. Only one view required TabBar. User need to navigate 7 to 8 views, then only TabBar view will appear. So considering this I have started with Navigation Based template. But when I am creating TabBar view with Tabbar Controller, navigation is not working properly (it might be because its NavigationBased tamplate). Please help me, I am highly confused :(

    Hi, I have the following classes: Client ClientCacheMedia ( contains Client, Media and some other parameters so it is the link between the media and the client) Media where client contains an IList. Now what i would like to do, is have a way to check if this ilist contains a certain media so : Client.ClientCacheMedia.Contains(MyMedia) is there any way to let the IList accept media as an object to match ? ( i can easily override the Equals Property on ClientCacheMedia to check if the media passed is the one that the ClientCacheMedia.Media contains, it's just the Ilist that will not accept any other object on the Contains Method.

    Morning all Now I know there is a reason to this odering but my tiny little brain can't get my head around it. I am using a webservice to pull through data to a webp[age and have the following that is so far pulling data through from UUF1: public string[] GetBuyer(string Memberkey) { try { WebService.EntitiesConnection buyer = new WebService.EntitiesConnection(); return buyer.tblProducts .Where(p => p.MemberId == Memberkey) .OrderBy(p => p.UnitUserfield1) .Select(p => p.UnitUserfield1) .Distinct() .ToArray(); } catch (Exception) { return null; } } This works fine and pulls the data through but in a strange order. Where I would expect results of A B C D E F, it appears to be returning A C E B D F. Could someone point out the error in my ways please?

    Here's my situation; I've built a very simple web app that looks up a users location and plots it on a Google map. Here's my code: http://pastebin.com/d3a185efd When I test it, my location is detected as being = 500 meters from where I actually stand. BUT When I open up Google Maps or Gowalla my location is correct to within <20 meters? So my question is: Do native iPhone apps benefit from a higher accuracy rate than web apps? If so, why?

Im creating it using this code. echo $form-input('timeback', array('options' = array('week',1,2,3,))); This creates a dropdown. Followed by this code: echo $form-end('submit'); This all works well, accept that these two forms should be next to eachother instead of below eachother. Is there a way to make this happen?     I want to write an application to List the Gmail message. In the list, if user click one of the message item, it shall link ot Gmail App to see more detial information. Currently I can read the Gmail db with Gmail.java. There are some problems while I want to open Gmail Activity. In general, we can open Activity with Action and parameters. But Gmail App has not release code base. We do not know what Action set to Gmail Activity and what parmeter shall we put the extras. I only know that the Activity of View detial Message is named "HtmlConversationActivity." And the Package is under "com.google.android.gm." please tell me how to open the View detial Message Activity in Gmail APP. thanks a lot.

    I cant seem to get my JSON file to work when pulling it in from another domain using JQuerys getJSON. I have placed the callback part at the end of the url but still have no joy. Firebug tells me its a cross domain issue, which seems to make sense as if I place the json file locally the below code (excluding the ?jsoncallback=? works fine) Heres the Jquery part For eg. my directory structure is: c:\ myapp\ abc.xml abc.txt abc-1.2.xml abc-abc.xml abcdef.xml pqr.xml xyz.xml abc\ so from this, i need to delete all abc* files.
