• Out of Memory Matlab Error

  Dears. I am using Matlab 2009b and having an out of memory error. I read other posted sol but they are not useful for me. I am sure that i am doing things right but i must use very huge amount of array sizes. I think that the problem lies beyond the fact that Matlab does not enable an array to be in more than one OS block. I am using Windows 7. Is there a way to get rid of this problem. For example can i increase the array block that Matlab uses in Windows 7? Thanks...Hani Almousli

  My SQL Server 2008 database file (.mdf) file is nearly 24 MB but the log file grown upto 15 GB. If I want to shrink database what are the important points to take into consideration? Will shrink causes any index fragmentation and does it affect my database performance?

• Paging problem in Data Form Webpart SP2010

  I was working on some webpart in sharepoint designer 2010  and i decided to use the default custom paging.But i noticed the previous link page isn't working it basicalling just takes me back to the start page of the list and not the previous page after a good look i noticed micosoft is using "history.back()" which is suppose to work but it doesn't work well for paged data.Anyway before i started further investigation i found Hani Amr's solution at the right time and that did the trick.Hope that helps

• Adaboost algorithm and its usage in face detection

  I am trying to understand Adaboost algorithm but i have some troubles. After reading about Adaboost i realized that it is a classification algorithm(somehow like neural network). But i could not know how the weak classifiers are chosen (i think they are haar-like features for face detection) and how finally the H result which is the final strong classifier can be used. I mean if i found the alpha values and compute the H ,how am i going to benefit from it as a value (one or zero) for new images. Please is there an example describes it in a perfect way? i found the plus and minus example that is found in most adaboost tutorials but i did not know how exactly hi is chosen and how to adopt the same concept on face detection. I read many papers and i had many ideas but until now my ideas are not well arranged. Thanks....

• Free Spectral Images database?

  I am working on a project "object detection using multi spectral imaging", but i am finding troubles because i dont have images to start testing my ideas. Now i am working with the hardware. Please Does any one knows a database for any spectral imaging(faces, flowers,..etc) such that i can test my ideas for classification until i finish the hardware.

  I have a small system which consist of: Led Clusters, camera(RGB or grayscale) and an object to be detected. I am emitting a light from the LED clusters (ex: yellow). After emitting light on the object, I am capturing an image for the object from the camera. I want to get the spectral image of the object from the captured image. Please if any one knows the algorithm or a code for this purpose(grayscale or RGB camera), tell me. Thanks.....
