  • Biztalk forced suspense?

    Hi, I am getting the error: This service instance was suspended by a BizTalk administrator. However I didn't force a suspense and it's on my local machine. I get this message all the time with every item i input. The thing is I changed a line in assembly which was a small translation, however this couldn't possibly be the cause. So I was wondering if anyone has encountered this problem before and what they did to fix this. Thx

  • Multiple Instances of a single MEF DLL

    Apparently .NET 4.0 does not have the PartCreator/ExportFactory for non-SL. Which is something I think I need for this. I was wondering if someone can help me (with an example please) of how to create multiple instances of the EXPORTED type in a DLL. Basically say I have a DLL that contains a type ConsoleLogger and it uses the interface ILogger (which I import/export through MEF)...How would I create an instance of ConsoleLogger whenever I wanted to? Also..Is this even possible?

  • URL encoding yes/or no?

    I have a restful webservice which receives some structured data which is put straight into a database. The data is send from an OS using wget. I am just wondering whether I actually need to URL encode the data and if so why? Please note that it is no problem to do it but it might be uneccessary in this scenario. Thanks. Christian

  • How does DataContractSerializer write to private fields?

    I understand how XMLSerializer could work by using reflection to figure out what public read/write fields or properties it should be using to serialize or de-serialize XML. Yet XMLSerializer requires that the fields be public and read/write. However, DataContractSerializer is able to read or write to or from completely private fields in a class. So I'm wondering how this is even possible with out explicitly giving DataContractSerializer additional access rights to my class(es).

  • can ServiceLocator.Current.GetInstance return null?

    I have this piece of code (or similar) in many of our views: private IEventAggregator eventAggregator; Constructor() { eventAggregator = ServiceLocator.Current.GetInstance<IEventAggregator>(); ... } I read from this post that ServiceLocator.Current can throw NullReferenceException (bad thing on a constructor) but I was wondering if the GetInstance<() method can return null (or some other inconsistent object) making eventAggregator dangerous to use later in other methods. NOTE: I'm quite new to MVVM and WPF

  • IE6 (yes, IE6) css spacing issue

    Hey Guys I'm basically building this page which obviously works fine in all browsers apart from IE6, where a small space appears below the cart. The background also has a gap in it in IE6, so I'm wondering what my be causing that, as it's probably related to the main issue.   • Google App Engine + AdWords API: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/xml/soap/SOAPException

    Hi all, I know a lot so far about this exception. But I am wondering, if any of you tried to use AdWords API on GAE. AdWords uses Axis as underlying WS library, which do not work on GAE and unfortunately I cannot find solution to make it working. I tried already this: http://dev.bizo.com/2009/04/calling-soap-web-services-on-google-app.html Does any of you know if there is a way to use AdWords API on GAE with Java?     I've pulled in some changes to read-only files from a remote repository and I'm trying to update my working area, but I get [Errno 13] ... Access is denied errors when TortoiseHg tries to update the read-only files. I can do the update from the command line using a -f, but I'm wondering if there's a command, option, or setting that will solve this problem in the TortoiseHg GUI.

    I am wondering what the fastest approach might be for using Flash/AS3 to render a 2D point plot (sonar lofargram) ; basically screens full of tiny 2D dots using Flash as fast as possible.     Just curious, did I overlook somewhere in the API to display a chat bubble type image as found in the iPhone's SMS application? There's a few applications out there that use bubbles that look verbatim to the iPhone's and I'm wondering if they're using a native widget or their own image. This is also seen in the Tweetie application where the content of the tweets are.

So now I am wondering if people who are going to view my application need to install Silverlight 4.0 instead of Silverlight 3.5. If so, how can I downgrade from 4.0 to 3.5?
