  • Logging in as the same user multiple times in Remote Desktop Windows Server 2008

    Quick question: I have a situation where I need to let multiple people on different PCs log into one server 2008 machine as administrator simultaneously over remote desktop. I have the CALs for it, it's just not set up correctly. When one user tries to log in, it boots the other out. What I need is to present to them a different session, just each as logged in as admin. Sorry for the slightly rambling post, I'm new here. Thanks!

    Hello, I bought a Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000 web camera for may parent's Dell Dimension 3000 computer running XP SP 3, and I cannot get it to run. THe installation ran successfully, but when I try to run it, I get the error: Faulting application lifecam.exe, version 3.21.263.0, faulting module kernel32.dll, version 5.1.2600.5781, fault address 0x00012afb. The microsoft help link really didn't help... how do I even resolve this type of error? Thanks.

    I got the home and remote office users connect to the Terminal Server on my Windows Server 2003 that I published securely through Juniper SSL VPN client applet, they use normal internet connection to access the link which pop up the Terminal Server Remote Desktop application, so my question is, how can they print out the document from within their terminal server session ? if it is going through the internal office LAN mapping the printer through Remote Desktop connection is the solution but not for this one. Any kind of help and suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    When using the standard Windows remote desktop client in Full Screen to connect to a large remote desktop, the result is usually that the remote desktop is resized to a smaller size matching the local display. Are there any RDP clients that in Full Screen instead leave the remote desktop at its original size and pan this larger area when the mouse reaches the border edges of the local display? Thanks Mike

    This is my first time running a postfixadmin, so in my setup.php, I'm getting this error DEBUG INFORMATION: Invalid query: Unknown column 'create_date' in 'mailbox' I'm running it with MySQL. So if i'm right, my guess is that i need to create a column? under mailbox table on the postfix database? but how or whats the right syntax into creating a timedate column?     Problem: After directory is auto-mounted, Web Server has no write permissions to it. Question: How to auto-mount GlusterFS endpoint via /etc/fstab so that mount point belongs to www-data after it's mounted? For now, the mount point belongs to www-data, but after mounting it turns to root. # /etc/fstab foo.com:/st /st glusterfs defaults 0 0 Seams like I cannot define user / group as mount options for GlusterFS, at least I don't see it when man glusterfs.     In Outlook 2007, when in Calendar view, there's a category (group) of calendars on the left hand bar titled "People's Calendars". We're migrating from a system where all employees have access to read and write to all other employees' calendars (via a 3rd party Web Calendar). Is it possible, from an admin level, to auto-populate this People's Calendars category in everyone's Outlook with all the employees in the company, and grant everyone read / write access to everyone else's calendars?
