What is the most complex expression you've seen/used ?
and what's the limit on the length of the expression that can be used ? I seem to recall something to that effect a while back but can't locate it now !!
Hi,
I only want a simple Splash Screen Example.
Get the Code, Insert my picture, add 2 lines of code to load and finish.
But all I can google is so complex, that is too much. I only want a form with a picture that goes more and more transparent until it hides automaticly and my window is shown.
I tried the "prettygoodsplashscreen" from Codeproject, but don't work for me.
Lang is c#.net 2.0
I'm in need for a data structure that can handle small sets (10-20 strings, at most 50, of varying length) very fast. False positives is ok, but false negatives are not.
The last requirement makes bloom filters seem like a good fit, but I'm not sure about their speed, any other recommendations?
I have a library in c:\cppunit\lib, and a header files in c:\cppunit\include.
I come up with this cmake file to build with the library.
How to let CMake to know the library is in c:/cppunit/lib?
PROJECT( cppunitest )
INCLUDE_DIRECTORIES( "c:/cppunit/include" )
??? How to let CMake to know the library is in c:/cppunit/lib
SET( cppunitest_SRC main.cpp testset.cpp complex.cpp )
LINK_LIBRARIES(cppunit)
ADD_EXECUTABLE( cpptest ${cppunitest_SRC})
is there a built in function in php that would combine 2 strings into 1?
example: $string1 = abcde, $tring2 = cdefg
combine to get: abcdefg
if the exact overlapping sequence and the position are known, then it is possible to write a code to merge them.
TIA
I was playing around with the rx function for generating regular expressions from sexps in ELISP but couldn't figure out how to generate the regular expression "\\documentclass" for use in org-export-latex-classes:
(rx "\\documentclass")
(rx "\\" "documentclass")
(rx (char "\\") "documentclass")
Which when evaluated give respectively the following outputs:
"\\\\documentclass"
"\\\\documentclass"
"[\\]documentclass"
Is "\\documentclass" equivalent to "[\\]documentclass"?---I think it is, but am not sure. Can I generate the former using rx?
Edit: Whilst the question was valid I realize my motivation was not; because org-export-latex-classes use strings not regular expressions.
I have a Flex repeater that has a complex item template. When a checkbox is clicked, I need to toggle the visibility of a sibling button contained in the same repeater template. Since I can't add binding expressions to event handlers, I can't pass in the repeater item's index.
How can I access sibling components inside a repeater item?
I've seen some complex, enterprise tools for requirements like Rymatech's FeaturePlan -- is there something that enables collaboration and best practices for putting Business-Readable, Domain-Specific (or natural language) requirements and acceptance criteria in place?
I'm trying to get 'jcode' for ruby, but I type "gem install jcode" and it says nothing exists?
Does anyone know why? I'm trying to manipulate UTF-8 encoded strings.
Sorry for the noob questoin as I'm a ruby noob :o
In the tornado.web module there is a function called _time_independent_equals:
def _time_independent_equals(a, b):
if len(a) != len(b):
return False
result = 0
for x, y in zip(a, b):
result |= ord(x) ^ ord(y)
return result == 0
It is used to compare secure cookie signatures, and thus the name.
But regarding the implementation of this function, is it just a complex way to say a==b?
I am having a problem with the UITableview cell cutting off strings whose characters are more than 12 chars. Any ideas why this would occur? I have not made a custom cell at all. I cannot find any solution to this problem through a Google search. Any ideas?
I am using Firefox's native JSON.parse() to parse some JSON strings that include regular expressions as values, for example:
var test = JSON.parse('{"regex":"/\\d+/"}');
The '\d' in the above throws an exception with JSON.parse(), but works fine when I use eval (which is what I'm trying to avoid).
What I want is to preserve the '\' in the regex - is there some other JSON-friendly way to escape it?
hi. I am really having a problem about what to use as an alternative for web flow. I have read that not all functionalities should be handled by web flow. Only those which needs complex xstate management. For those easy stuffs like just login, editing or deleting records what will I use as an alternative for web flow?
One of the downsides of web.config/app.config is that it's just Magic Strings everywhere, since it's just an XML file.
Interpreted languages like PHP or Ruby have the advantage that the configuration is just code that is executed. In .net, doing stuff in code requires a redeployment, which defeats the purpose.
Now, before I build my own web.config replacement based on Boo or PowerShell I wanted to know if there is an existing one?
I'm developing an interpreter and I have some questions to it.
I recently saw a small C interpreter that used a very simple struct like the below for all its objects/values in the language:
struct Object
{
ubyte type;
ubyte value;
};
This struct can hold strings, integers, bools and lists (I think) used in the language the interpreter is working with.
How can you get this Object struct to hold all these types?
Given a multimap<A,B> M what's a neat way to create a vector<B> of all values in M with a specific key.
e.g given a multimap how can I get a vector of all strings mapped to the value 123?
An answer is easy, looping from lower-upper bound, but is there a neat loop-free method?
Hi!
Is there a method to build a balanced binary search tree?
Example:
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
5
/ \
3 etc
/ \
2 4
/
1
I'm thinking there is a method to do this, without using the more complex self-balancing trees. Otherwise I can do it on my own, but someone probably have done this already :)
I know WPF is more complex an flexible so could be thought to do more calculations. But since the rendering is done on the GPU, wouldn't it be faster than Winforms for the same application (functionally and visually)?
I mean when you are not running any games or heavy 3d rendering, the GPU isn't doing heavy work, right? Whereas the CPU is always busy.
Is this a valid assumption or is the GPU utilization of WPF a very minor operation in its pipeline?
I have a c++ project being developed in QT. The problem I'm running in to is I am wanting to have a single base class that all my property classes inherit from so that I can store them all together. Right now I have:
class AbstractProperty
{
public:
AbstractProperty(QString propertyName);
virtual QString toString() const = 0;
virtual QString getName() = 0;
virtual void fromString(QString str) = 0;
virtual int toInteger() = 0;
virtual bool operator==(const AbstractProperty &rightHand) = 0;
virtual bool operator!=(const AbstractProperty &rightHand) = 0;
virtual bool operator<(const AbstractProperty &rightHand) = 0;
virtual bool operator>(const AbstractProperty &rightHand) = 0;
virtual bool operator>=(const AbstractProperty &rightHand) = 0;
virtual bool operator<=(const AbstractProperty &rightHand) = 0;
protected:
QString name;
};
then I am implementing classes such as PropertyFloat and PropertyString and providing implementation for the comparator operators based on the assumption that only strings are being compared with strings and so on. However the problem with this is there would be no compiletime error thrown if i did
if(propertyfloat a < propertystring b)
however my implementation of the operators for each derived class relies on them both being the same derived class. So my problem is I cant figure out how to implement a property structure so that I can have them all inherit from some base type but code like what I have above would throw a compile time error.
Any ideas on how this can be done? For those familiar with QT I tried using also a implementation with QVariant however QVariant doesn't have operators < and defined in itself only in some of its derived classes so it didn't work out.
What my end goal is, is to be able to generically refer to properties. I have an element class that holds a hashmap of properties with string 'name' as key and the AbstractProperty as value. I want to be able to generically operate on the properties. i.e. if I want to get the max and min values of a property given its string name I have methods that are completely generic that will pull out the associated AbstactProperty from each element and find the max/min no matter what the type is. so properties although initially declared as PropertyFloat/PropertyString they will be held generically.
I have strings like "5d4h2s", where I want to get 5, 4, and 2 from that string, but I also want to know that 5 was paired with d, and that 4 was paired with h, etc etc. Is there an easy way of doing this without parsing char by char?
Hello, we're facing a problem now. We have a pretty big page with a loooong inline script, which does all the work. We now want to obfuscate it and use it as a separate .js file. But the problem is that we have paths which are generated by Url helper (Url.Content()). So what is the best way to separate js file from the page and not using hard-coded path strings?
Does anyone know how to construct a POST DATA body in VBA? I'm trying to upload rather lengthy strings via a post call using the "Microsoft.XMLHTTP" object. I'm not tied to using that object for making the HTTP request either.
Hi,
I am trying to find a way for our users to very easily upload their outlook contacts into our web application (mysql database).
I'm not sure where to begin. I've seen various tools which are pretty complex. I am open to existing third-party solutions, but my hope is that there is something which is very simple to use or build.
Thanks.
PS: Ideally, it would not involve using visual basic.
Hello Guys,
I am new to TCL and seeking a help to deal with the following expression.
I am getting the i/p string from the user to validate any of these strings below & no others in a line in CLI
{ GHI GII GJI GKI}
and another tricky one is to write regexp to match only the characters which begin with alphabet A & end with B, It also have 1 or more of either YO or OY in between using procedure.
Thank you
Basically I want to get bezier control points from a ttf font and then draw them. I was basically wondering 2 things.
Does it return an array of points or is it more complex?
How can you tell the points of 1 contour from another ex: the letter O which has 2 contours?
Thanks
