    I have a large data-set of emails sent and status-codes. ID Recipient Date Status 1 someone@example.com 01/01/2010 1 2 someone@example.com 02/01/2010 1 3 them@example.com 01/01/2010 1 4 them@example.com 02/01/2010 2 5 them@example.com 03/01/2010 1 6 others@example.com 01/01/2010 1 7 others@example.com 02/01/2010 2 In this example: all emails sent to someone have a status of 1 the middle email (by date) sent to them has a status of 2, but the latest is 1 the last email sent to others has a status of 2 What I need to retrieve is a count of all emails sent to each person, and what the latest status code was. The first part is fairly simple: SELECT Recipient, Count(*) EmailCount FROM Messages GROUP BY Recipient ORDER BY Recipient Which gives me: Recipient EmailCount someone@example.com 2 them@example.com 3 others@example.com 2 How can I get the most recent status code too?   • Subdomain mapping to another external subdomain

    I'm trying to map help.domain1.com to help.domain2.com. I've seen this on UserVoice. They let you map something.yourdomain.com to something.uservoice.com. On domain1.com I've set up a CNAME to help.domain2.com. It works fine but when I open help.domain1.com I get the content of domain2.com instead of help.domain2.com. After some experimenting I've realized that this is an expected behavior. So my question is what do I have to do on domain2.com (or maybe on domain1.com?) to have it show content of subdomain "help.domain2.com" when I navigate help.domain1.com? (I'm using Plesk and the OS is Windows Server 2003)

  • How do you get the host address and port from a System.Net.EndPoint?

    I'm using a TcpClient passed to me from a TcpListener, and for the life of me I can't figure out a simple way to get the address and port it's connected to. The best I have so far is _client.Client.RemoteEndPoint.ToString(); which returns a string in the form FFFF::FFFF:FFFF:FFF:FFFF%00:0000. I've managed to extract the address and port using Regular Expressions, but this seems like overkill. What am I missing?

    I am trying to redirect an old website that was on Godaddy's website builder and Quick Blogcast to a new site on Wordpress. I have no problems redirecting from the old page structure to the new one. For example: For example: http://sapientservicesllc.com/About_Us.html redirected to http://sapientservicesllc.com/about-us/ I used: 301 redirect /About_Us.html http://sapientservicesllc.com/about-us/ In the htaccess file. My problem is that I need to redirect all of the blog posts that were on a subdomain to the new wordpress site.   • Nameserver not resolving or domain not pingable [closed]

    Sorry, if anyone can think of a better title please change it! I want to host my own websites from home. For testing purposes, I have a virtual machine running a trial version of Windows Server 2008 Enterprise. Note I currently run a VPS and host my own websites but due to a nice speed upgrade on our line I now want to host from home. I have several domains but I wanted to test with one, that is rickyoleary.com. Our ISP does not provide static IP addresses unless we have a business account so I've been looking at no-ip.com. I admit my networking isn't the best, hence this question but I've been bashing my head all day on this one. I created a host name, muffinbubble.no-ip.org which runs on IP: 86.148.124.15. I've setup IIS on the server with a simple test page. I've then forwarded port 80 traffic from the router and from what I can see, it's working. If I access my website (I was unable to link to this for some reason so please copy and paste this) - http://86.148.124.15/ - I see my test page. So the next step was to create my nameservers. This domain is with namecheap.com so I created my nameservers, ns1.rickyoleary.com and ns2.rickyoleary.com. Both these point to the same IP (and yes, that will be changed after testing), the same IP as above: 86.148.124.15. On the server itself I have set up DNS entries as below which I believe to be correct and added rickyoleary.com and www.rickyoleary.com in the host headers (or bindings) in IIS 7.0. If I try and look up my domain, rickyoleary.com it shows ns1.rickyoleary.com and ns2.rickyoleary.com as the nameservers. I then tried to use just-ping.com on my nameserver ns1.rickyoleary.com. I get 100% packets lost, but the correct IP address is returned (I'm guessing the router does not allow pings, but is still accessible...). I get no response when pinging rickyoleary.com. Here's the problems: I cannot ping ns1.rickyoleary.com or ns2.rickyoleary.com from a command prompt. I'm not sure if this is an issue. When I added the nameservers in Windows Server 2008 and clicked 'resolve' a message box displays stating "No such host is known". I cannot ping rickyoleary.com. rickyoleary.com is not showing my test page on my server. Now - please note, I've waited around 6 hours for propagation. From my experience, although you're told to wait 24 - 48 hours, the changes are normally pretty quick so perhaps I'm being impatient or naive to think it should all be working fine until then. I would really appreciate some help here. Thanks.

    Hello, I know that with loaded servers, roundrobin in HAproxy (1.4.4) does not evenly distribute, but my servers are currently getting NO traffic (test setup), and roundrobin balancing does www1,www1,www1,www1,www1,...www2,www2,www2,...,www1...   • CPanel has two entries for site, need to use SSL one

    I have a website that is meant to be using SSL, however there are two entries in Cpanel's httpd.conf which seem to be causing an issue. When I visit just www.website.com I require it to go to https://www.website.com. However I have to write the https:// directly for the site to work. The secure site also has a different IP. Then I had spent a couple of hours scratching my head, trying to figure out why. It turns out that the PowerShell Variables Panel causes the problem. Not quite sure why, but collapse the panel fix the problem. Problem: It throws the following exception when debugging my PowerShell Script.     This is my scenario: I have a vps with two domains (example1.com, example2.com). When I started with this vps I set example1.com as primary domain and the nameserver were configured with the pattern ns1.example.com, ns2.example1.com. The domains were brought in name.com. Across the time, I usually only work whit the domain example2.com, for that reason I stopped to pay example1.com anual registration and just keep the example2.com. But, today my vps is unreacheable because the main domain was deactivated last ago 23th. I never imagined that it could affect my server. So, I am so worried because I don't know if rebuild the vps is the solution here because I could lost my data. Can you take me to the right direction in order to recover my vps?

    I'm not so good at dns at all :) Just basics. A while ago i have noticed, that my blog have different Page Ranks, PR 3 for domain www.example.com and PR 1 for domain example.com. In dns records i have this setup: A - IP - www.example.com A - same IP - example.com Should i replace this record "A - same IP - example.com" with row with CNAME instead of A? Like that: CNAME - same IP - example.com - alias www.example.com Will this combine Page Rank value of both domains? Or i can just create 302 redirection inside .htaccess file, verify example.com(without www) inside Google Webmaster Tools as my domain and inside www.example.com options set as main domain?     I am trying to configure my domain to forward to my app engine application. For the forwarding I can choose from "forward only" and "forward with masking". Assume my domain is called "myDomain.com" and my app is located at myApp.appspot.com. If I choose "forward only" and I go to myDomain.com, I get redirect to myApp.appspot.com (myApp.appspot.com also showing in the address bar - But I want to show myDomain.com of course). If I choose "forward with masking", "myDomain.com" is always shown in the address bar, even if I navigate to some subpage. The URL then should look like e.g.: "myDomain.com#!page:xyz", but still shows "myDomain.com". Is there some way in the middle?

  • Is it legal and ethical to reverse engineer software to port it to another system?

    I love gaming, I love games that allow modding and I love linux. But the fact that most games right now are targeted for windows (consoles aside), most mods and modding tools are also targeted for windows. There is a certain modder called Boris Vorontsov that makes a famous visual overhaul mod series called ENB. What he does (or I think he does) is he enhances or changes the behavior of classes defined in the d3d9.dll library. Needless to say it almost never works under wine. Recently I have asked him if he would ever release his version of the library under some open license, and he said "no". Now that I think of it, even if he did release his code, he would have surely faced some legal problems. Now there is my question. Is it legal and ethical to reverse engineer his version of the library to adapt the wine's open source version of d3d9.dll to be able to run his mods?
