    I have an ajax search form that works fine if you click "submit" in that you enter a zipcode, click the "Enter" button and up pops results instantly. I'm trying to make it so that if the user presses "enter" on the keyboard, it has the same effect. It looks like it's submitting, but no results come up...   • Different button's name at the opening of jquery dialog

    Hello, I have a dialog form and when I open it I have the button "add a task", I would like to keep this "name", when I open the form from an empty case, but I want to have a button named "edit this task" when I open an already existing task. I also want to send the form with this button when I push enter key, no matter where I am on the form. Thank you.

  • IE not showing jquery append() images

    Ok, so i took John Raasch's slideshow script and modyfied it too dynamicly fetch images from folders on the server through ajax. The slideshow work like a charm in FF and Chrome but IE is not showing the images. And since IE's javascript debugging possibilities is close to none I cant figure out what is crashing.   • jquery specific show buttons on hover

    I have an application creating a bunch of divs through a loop. Each div has the class "product" so it looks like <div class="product"> !.....stuff here ....! <div class="show_on_hover">...buttons here... </div> </div> so there are about 12 of these same divs per page. I would like to hover over a specific one and show the specific "show_on_hover" div which is initially set to display:none. $('.product').hover(function() { $(.show_on_hover).show(); }, function () { $(.show_on_hover).hide(); } ); That is what I have so far but it will show ALL of the .show_on_hovers on the page so I am wondering how to get only the specific one you have moused over to show. This effect is seen on youtube when you mouseover any of the comments, and some comment tools pop up. Thanks!

I have done this: $('#row-img_1').onmouseover = function (){ alert('foo'); }; $('#row-img_2').onmouseout = function (){ alert('foo2'); }; However, the above has not worked, it does not alert when mouse is over or when it moves out. I have also tried the $('#row-img_1').attr(); and I could not get this to work either. I am aware that I should be using a more effective event handling system but my divs are dynamically generated. However, since I bound sortEnd to the function that does the sorting, you get a infinite loop of sorting/resorting.   • Add in integer to returned value with jQuery

    I have a page with a div id="videoFrame" that holds the video tag. The videos have variable heights so I have a function to grab the height value and plug it into the css of the div id="videoFrame like so: var videoHeight = $('video').attr('height'); $('#videoFrame').css('height',videoHeight+'px'); This works great. But here's the part driving me crazy. I have a p tag with disclaimers at the bottom of the div id="videoFrame". So I would like to add an additional 26px to the returned height. I tried: var videoHeight = $('video').attr('height'); var frameHeight = videoHeight + 26; $('#videoFrame').css('height',frameHeight+'px'); But as you would expect it is adding 26 to the end of the returned value. i.e. if returned value is 337 output for var frameHeight is 33726. I can not for the life of me figure out how to do this. Thanks in advance for any help
