  • Drag and Drop file upload in Silverlight 4?

    I'm working on re-writing a WinForms application into Silverlight. One use case in the WinForms app allows users to drag TIFF images (of faxes) from Outlook directly onto an "attach an image or fax to this case" control in the WinForms app. Is there a Silverlight 4 control which allows for the same functionality? It's important to realize that saving the file to the local filesystem and then selecting and uploading the file with a standard upload control will not meet the business requirements as outlined in the project.

If I replace ^m with some other characters (like ^m with m or any other) then It works fine. I faced this issue with other characters too like ^a and few other. What could be the solution ?

  • Yahoo Pipes: filter items in a feed based on words in a text file

    I have a pipe that filters an RSS feed and removes any item that contains "stopwords" that I've chosen. Currently I've manually created a filter for each stopword in the pipe editor, but the more logical way is to read these from a file. I've figured out how to read the stopwords out of the text file, but how do I apply the filter operator to the feed, once for every stopword? The documentation states explicitly that operators can't be applied within the loop construct, but hopefully I'm missing something here.

  • FastMM log to file without FullDebugMode

    I'd like to get FastMM memory leak report that shows up on app shutdown, but in a file instead of the dialog box. The idea is to use it in a release build as I have trouble reproducing the leaks. I would however prefer to not use the FullDebugMode which seems to be required for logging to a file. Am I missing anything or is this not supported ?

Think of the following cases: an mp3 track is downloaded multiple times, copied over various devices on website a login form is often rebuild many times, why not reuse more code? words themselves are used many times questions and answers are accidentally saved at many places in parallel images or photos often describe the same data (Eiffel tower, Golden gate, Taj Mahal) etc etc Are you aware of solutions? Or are you thinking about similar topics? Ideas? Blueprints? I'd love to hear from you!

I am receiving the following error. 1>c:\users\numerical25\desktop\intro todirectx\introtodirectx\chapter 4\init direct3d\init direct3d.cpp(9) : fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'd3dApp.h': No such file or directory But clearly from the image shown below, its there In oppose to other people who are having issues finding the header on the physical drive. the compiler can not find my header from within the solution explorer.

This question has been asked on SO, but essentially recommends running OpenOffice in headless X server, which was an absolute pain last time I used it.   • Java Charset problem on linux

    Hi, problem: I have a string containing special characters which i convert to bytes and vice versa..the conversion works properly on windows but on linux the special character is not converted properly.the default charset on linux is UTF-8 as seen with Charset.defaultCharset.getdisplayName() however if i run on linux with option -Dfile.encoding=ISO-8859-1 it works properly.. how to make it work using the UTF-8 default charset and not setting the -D option in unix environment. edit: i use jdk1.6.13 edit:code snippet works with cs = "ISO-8859-1"; or cs="UTF-8"; on win but not in linux String x = "½"; System.out.println(x); byte[] ba = x.getBytes(Charset.forName(cs)); for (byte b : ba) { System.out.println(b); } String y = new String(ba, Charset.forName(cs)); System.out.println(y); ~regards daed

    My java program is packaged in a jar file and makes use of an external jar library, bouncy castle. My code compiles fine, but running the jar leads to the following error: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.SecurityException: Invalid signature file digest for Manifest main attributes I've googled for over an hour searching for an explanation and found very little of value. But its not working in another server, after I deployed it.   • can router configuration cause decreasing of download rate?
