• xsl key - multiple levels for an element

  My previous post was not very meaningful. reposting here. What i am looking for is the QueueManager element, under SORRegion name="default"(which is the parent), within inan.xml. I have used xsl key. • Automate paster create -t plone3_buildout

  I want to automate the process of plone3_buildout. Explanation: The default(the one I use) way of building a plone site is using paster, like so: paster create -t plone3_buildout This asks me a few questions and then create a default buildout for the site. What I want: I want to automate this process using buildout. My buildout will execute this paster command, feed in my preconfigured values to the paster. I haven't found a recipe which can do this. If someone has an idea of how to do this, please share the info. If there is a recipe which can feed values to interactive commands(with known output, like with plone3_buildout command), that would be useful too.

• CakePHP Bake association problem

  I have only two tables in my database with a one-to-many relationship between them (user hasMany messages) and am trying to get basic CRUD functionality going. Bake detects the associations correctly and specifies them correctly inside the model classes, but in controllers and views it looks like Cake doesn't know anything about those associations -- I don't even get a select tag for user_id when I go add a new message. Has anyone come across this problem before? What can I be doing wrong? • How can I selectively update XNA GameComponents?

  I have a small 2D game I'm working on in XNA. So far, I have a player-controlled ship that operates on vector thrust and is terribly fun to spin around in circles. I've implemented this as a DrawableGameComponent and registered it with the game using game.Components.Add(this) in the Ship object constructor. How can I implement features like pausing and a menu system with my current implementation? Is it possible to set certain GameComponents to not update? Is this something for which I should even be using a DrawableGameComponent? If not, what are more appropriate uses for this?

• FormsAuthentication redirecting to login page when visiting root of website

  I wanted to use FormsAuthentication to secure my static files as well on my site, so I followed the instructions located here http://learn.iis.net/page.aspx/244/how-to-take-advantage-of-the-iis7-integrated-pipeline/ under title "Enabling Forms Authentication for the Entire Application". Now though, when I try to visit the site by going directly to http://www.mysite.com I get redirected to http://www.mysite.com/Login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2f instead of it using my DefaultDocument I have set. I can go to my default document by just visiting http://www.mysite.com/Home.aspx without any issues because it is set to allow anonymous access. Is there something I need to add into my web.config file to make iis7 allow anonymous access to the root? I tried adding with anonymous access but no such luck. Any help would be much appreciated. • Iphone video subtitles programmatic selection

  I have some videos (mp4) with multiple language subtitles that can be read by an iphone. Users can select to view the subtitle and the language from the default iphone button in the video ui. I would like to be able to set a defalut programmatically, so that, for instance, an user can select a language just one time in the main screen and, from then on, all the videos will have that language subtitles on by default. I can't find anything in the official documentation. I tought about some workarounds like renaming srt files but i don't think it's possible witouht copying all the video files in the user documents dir (not an option).

• What if we run out of stack space in C# or Python?

  Supposing we are running a recursive algorithm on a very large data set that requires, say, 1 million recursive calls. Normally, one would solve such a large problem by converting recursion to a loop and a stack, but what if we do not want to or cannot rewrite the algorithm? Python has the sys.setrecursionlimit(int) method to set the number of recursions. However, this is only part of the story; the program can still run our of stack space. C# does not have a equivalent method. Fortunately, both C# and Python have option to set the stack space when creating a thread. In C#, there is an overloaded constructor for the Thread class that accepts a parameter for the stack size: Thread t = new Thread(work, stackSize); In Python, we can set the stack size by calling: threading.stack_size(67108864) We can then run our work under a new thread with increased stack size.

• Open Source Errors on Apple Cruch

  I've been looking around and I finally got the full source code called Apple-Crunch from google code. But when I put it into my project, the source code included so many errors in the class files such as: cannot be resolved into a type the constructor is undefined the method method() is undefined for the type Sprite class.java I downloaded the source directly from the command-line and noticed errors popping up on my project. Since i couldn't figure out how to import the actual folder into my workspace(it wouldn't show up on existing projects) I decided to copy and overwrite the folders into the project. The Errors were still there so I looked at the class files and noticed that the classes with errors extended from 'RokonActivity'. I then proceeded to add to the libs folder the rokon library in hopes to fix the errors. Sadly it didn't work and now I don't what to do to fix the errors. How do i fix the errors without having to manually change the code? The source code should be fully functional so why is there errors?

My question is whether there is an easy way to make Hibernate to just ignore inserts which would in effect insert duplicates? • Manipulate Page Theme Programatically

  I've got the following Setup in my Theme: \App_Themes\Default\StyleSheet.css \App_Themes\Default\PrintStyleSheet.css The PrintStyleSheet.css file has a set of printing css rules set in them wrapped in an @Media Print { } block. I need a way to programmatically remove the PrintStyleSheet.css from the list of css files for ASP.NET to inject based on some flags. (Some instances we want to print the site verbatim without custom formatting). I know i could build a seperate theme without the PrintStyleSheet.css in it and switch the theme programmatically, however this would introduce duplication of my master stylesheet which is not acceptable. Any ideas?

  When the following XAML used, the window size is not 5000x5000, but some small window where the button is cropped. <Window x:Class="WpfApplication1.Window1" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" Title="Window1" > <Button Width="5000" Height="5000">XXX</Button> </Window> From what I can tell, size I did not specify the SizeToContent attribute, the default is "Manual", so it will use *size of a window is determined by other properties, including Width, Height, MaxWidth, MaxHeight, MinWidth, and MinHeight. * From the WPF Windows Overview, it seems those other properties are FrameworkElement::MinHeight/Width, and FrameworkElement::MaxHeight. But since the default for the Mins are 0, the Maxs are Infinity and the Width/Height is Nan....what's going on? Where is WPF getting the window size? Any pointers to the right direction would be appreciated.

Should I create the file before prepare method? something like new File(...) If so, which should be the file path? thx a lot.

  Hi, I need to deploy a Windows Forms application using ClickOnce deployment. (VS2008, .NET 3.5) And I need to provide a configuration file for this app that any user can modify. For this reason, I am using Application Settings instead of standard appSetttings in app.config so I can separate the the user config from app config. see http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms228995(VS.80).aspx Creating a Settings.settings file using VS generated a class with hard-coded default values like this: [global::System.Configuration.DefaultSettingValueAttribute("blahblah")] public string MyProperty ... WTF? I want to read the default values from the app.config! So I created my own class deriving from ApplicationSettingsBase but I cannot get this to read values from the app.config. Any ideas?

  I have a MySQL InnoDB table laid out like so: id (int), run_id (int), element_name (varchar), value (text), line_order, column_order `MyDB`.`MyTable` ( `id` bigint(20) NOT NULL, `run_id` int(11) NOT NULL, `element_name` varchar(255) NOT NULL, `value` text, `line_order` int(11) default NULL, `column_order` int(11) default NULL It is used to store data generated by a Java program that used to output this in CSV format, hence the line_order and column_order. Lets say I have 2 entries (according to the table description): 1,1,'ELEMENT 1','A',0,0 2,1,'ELEMENT 2','B',0,1 I want to pivot this data in a view for reporting so that it would look like more like the CSV would, where the output would look this: --------------------- |ELEMENT 1|ELEMENT 2| --------------------- | A | B | --------------------- The data coming in is extremely dynamic; it can be in any order, can be any of over 900 different elements, and the value could be anything. The Run ID ties them all together, and the line and column order basically let me know where the user wants that data to come back in order.

  Hi I am working on creating a tower Defence java applet game and have come to a road block about implementing a title screen that i can select the level and difficulty of the rest of the game. my title screen class is called Menu. from this menu class i need to pass in many different variables into my Main class. i have used different classes before and know how to run them and such. but if both classes extend applet and each has its individual graphics method how can i run things from Main even though it was created in Menu. what i essentially want to do is run the Menu class withits action listeners and graphics until a Difficulty button has been selected, run the main class (which 100% works without having to have the Menu class) and pretty much terminate Menu so that i cannot go back to it, do not see its buttons or graphics menus. can i run one applet annd when i choose a button close that one and launch the other one? • ICalendar parser in PHP that supports timezones

  I am looking for a PHP class that can parse an ICalendar (ICS) file and correctly handle timezones. I already created an ICS parser myself but it can only handle timezones known to PHP (like 'Europe/Paris'). Unfortunately, ICS file generated by Evolution (default calendar software of Ubuntu) does not use default timezone IDs. It exports events with its a specific timezone ID exporting also the full definition of the timezone: daylight saving dates, recurrence rule and all the hard stuff to understand about timezones. This is too much for me. Since it was only a small utility for my girlfriend, I won't have time to investigate further the ICalendar specification and create a full blown ICalendar parser myself. So is there any known implementation in PHP of ICalendar file format that can parse timezones definitions?

• RNDC fails: permission denied

  Named works great. It creates a pid in /var/run/named/named.pid as expected. It is listening on port 953 as shown by the log: Apr 20 14:42:38 guchuko named[9115]: command channel listening on 127.0.0.1#953 But whenever I try to run "rndc reload" I get: rndc: 'reload' failed: permission denied What file is it being denied permission to ? It doesn't log anything so I don't know why it's not working.
