• How to get the Facebook iFrame Tab url (including parameters) from within the app?

  I think there are a few similar questions that seem to suggest using app_data in the signed request (http://developers.facebook.com/docs/authentication/signed_request/) but I'm not sure if it will be possible to do what I am trying to achieve with it as I've never used it before. If I have my Facebook 'Tab' Url as follows: http://www.facebook.com/pages/PAGE_TITLE/PAGE_ID?sk=app_APP_ID What I want to do is add an extra parameter on the end as follows: &WT.mc_id=email-uk-8014 The reason for this is for tracking purposes and links will be sent out of the form http://www.facebook.com/pages/PAGE_TITLE/PAGE_ID?sk=app_APP_ID&WT.mc_id=email-uk-8014 and the extra parameter will allow us to track the campaign id. As you can see I have no way of knowing the value of the parameter beforehand as it depends on the link clicked by the user so is it possible to somehow get the value of the WT.mc_id parameter inside my iframe app?

• Problem creating calculations 'engine' in two class java calculator

  i have hit a brick wall whilst attempting to create a two class java calculator but have been unsuccessful so far in getting it working. i have the code for an interface which works and displays ok but creating a seperate class 'CalcEngine' to do the actual calculations has proven to be beyond me. I'd appreciate it if someone could kick start things for me and create a class calcEngine which works with the interface class and allows input when from single button i.e. if one is pressed on the calc then 1 displays onscreen. please note i'm not asking someone to do the whole thing for me as i want to learn and i'm confident i can do the rest including addition subtraction etc. once i get over the obstacle of getting the two classes to communicate. any and all assistance would be very much appreciated. • Proxy Error 502 "Reason: Error reading from remote server" with Apache 2.2.3 (Debian) mod_proxy and Jetty 6.1.18

  Apache is receiving requests at port :80 and proxying them to Jetty at port :8080 The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server The proxy server could not handle the request GET /. My dilemma: Everything works fine normally (fast requests, few seconds or few tens of seconds long requests are processed ok). Problems occur when request processing takes long (few minutes?). If I issue request instead directly to Jetty at port :8080 the request is processed OK. So problem is likely to sit somewhere between Apache and Jetty where I am using mod_proxy. How to solve this? I have already tried some "tricks" related to KeepAlive settings, without luck. • Reinitialize GPU on RADEON HD 7970 under linux

  I have got a RADEON HD 7970 sapphire on Debian Squeeze. Since I often use it with running GPU codes, sometimes the performances highly decrease as I test it with "glxgears" tool (I get only 20 FPS in fullscreen). So I would like to be able to reinitialize the GPU without reboot the system. I know the "clinfo" tool which display the features of the graphics card. Is there a tool which allows to do this reinitialization ?

The thing is that I want the main thread to wait for the animation thread to finish and then to continue. I searched around, read a little bit and decided to use the join() method. It perfectly waits for the thread to finish but I doesn't animate correctly. The repaint() method gets called 2 times instead of nine. I think maybe the problem is because I used singletons. Now for eg a link is "http://xyz.com/start/tyu/a.html" and another is "http://ert.com/tyu/b.html" while a third link is "http://asdf.com/ghjk/c.html" From the above 3 links (which I have with me using a for clause in a FLWOR expression)...I want only the links which contain within them a string "tyu" to be selected-- I thought of using substring for this, but substring requires start and end positions to be specified- whereas in my scenario, I dont know at which position the desired string will be. How do I do substring matching in such a scenario, i.e. where exact position for occurrence of substring, is not known? I can use XQuery 1.0 for this purpose. Finally, I want to extract the link URL, as well as link text...

  I am trying to write a program that is supposed to multiply matrices using threads. I am supposed to fill the matrices using random numbers in a thread. I am compiling in g++ and using PTHREADS. I have also created a struct to pass the data from my command line input to the thread so it can generate the matrix of random numbers. The sizes of the two matrices are also passed in the command line as well. • where do i put html files in my web-app folder for a lift project with maven?

  I'm new to Lift framework for scala. For some reason, index.html resides in the web-app directory, and when I start up jetty, http://localhost:8080/ will point to that index.html file just fine. However, if I put a login.html file in the same folder as the index.html, and then go http://localhost:8080/login, Lift does not serve the file. Where do I need to put the files to get them register? I am a little lost because the behaviour only seems to work for index.html and nothing else.   I use the GMall 'Call phone' feature a lot, and the numeric keyboard pad works great for entering conference codes, but most conference call services want you "Enter your conference code followed by the 'hash' or 'pound' sign. So I end up typing the 10 digit conference code using the keyboard but then I have to use my mouse to push the # or hash sign. Is their a way to push the # with the keyboard?
