• Dreamweaver creating temp php files instead of working direct from the local test server files

  Trying to get MAMP running with Dreamweaver. When I preview a php file inside Dreamweavers 'Live View' mode instead of working direct from my file: http://localhost/php_test/timetest.php it creates its own temp file which looks like: http:// 127.0.0.1/php_test/ TMPWY5ZEM.php (I've added the additional spaces as stockoverflow assumed I was spamming) I know the localhost runs correctly as if I type the URL directly into a browser it runs fine. I've set up the Dreamweaver site correctly to the best of my knowledge, the details are below: Local site folder: /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/php_test Server Folder: /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/php_test Web URL: http://localhost/php_test/ Testing Server: PHP MySQL Any help?

  I want to extract some links from a XML document (links are in same format as on html pages). Now for eg a link is "http://xyz.com/start/tyu/a.html" and another is "http://ert.com/tyu/b.html" while a third link is "http://asdf.com/ghjk/c.html" From the above 3 links (which I have with me using a for clause in a FLWOR expression)...I want only the links which contain within them a string "tyu" to be selected-- I thought of using substring for this, but substring requires start and end positions to be specified- whereas in my scenario, I dont know at which position the desired string will be. How do I do substring matching in such a scenario, i.e. where exact position for occurrence of substring, is not known? I can use XQuery 1.0 for this purpose. Finally, I want to extract the link URL, as well as link text...

The thing is that I want the main thread to wait for the animation thread to finish and then to continue. I searched around, read a little bit and decided to use the join() method. It perfectly waits for the thread to finish but I doesn't animate correctly. The repaint() method gets called 2 times instead of nine. I think maybe the problem is because I used singletons.   My server has recieved sudden increase in the (read) web traffic, requesting many map image tiles, and apache cannot handle it. Apache cannot even handle the redirections! The average load I get in my CentOS machine is more then 200.. Is there some software out there that can redirect SOME of the traffic, such as only the traffic from specific directory (such as http://example.com/maptiles/abc.png) to a different address (sucha as http://s3.amazonaws.com/mytiles/abc.png) ? can this be done by HAProxy?

• Problem creating calculations 'engine' in two class java calculator

  i have hit a brick wall whilst attempting to create a two class java calculator but have been unsuccessful so far in getting it working. i have the code for an interface which works and displays ok but creating a seperate class 'CalcEngine' to do the actual calculations has proven to be beyond me. I'd appreciate it if someone could kick start things for me and create a class calcEngine which works with the interface class and allows input when from single button i.e. if one is pressed on the calc then 1 displays onscreen. please note i'm not asking someone to do the whole thing for me as i want to learn and i'm confident i can do the rest including addition subtraction etc. once i get over the obstacle of getting the two classes to communicate. any and all assistance would be very much appreciated.   I have got a RADEON HD 7970 sapphire on Debian Squeeze. Since I often use it with running GPU codes, sometimes the performances highly decrease as I test it with "glxgears" tool (I get only 20 FPS in fullscreen). So I would like to be able to reinitialize the GPU without reboot the system. I know the "clinfo" tool which display the features of the graphics card. Is there a tool which allows to do this reinitialization ?

• How do I fix SVC-FILWRT on Windows?

  I have to do some processing (enhancing metadata) on the XML document that are on my Marklogic database. For that I have created a new HTTP server that is pointing towards the database. Using that HTTP server, I write a XQuey that loop through all the XML documents in Marklogic database and send these XML documents to particular URL that reads the content from that document, append some metadata and then store back to ML. This is something I have tried on Linux platform with same version of Marklogic and it works great for me. But now, when I am trying the same on window platform (Windows 7 Enterprise addition) and it's not working. Approaches I tried to resolve that: Running Marklogic Server as "Run as Administrator". Putting HTTP server's Base directory into D:/ directory i.e. directory that does not have windows installed within it. Above same with putting forest to D:/ directory. Now I need them to convert to domain specific complete URL. No ../ or ../../ like thing in the URL.
