  • suggestions for fast reliable proxy IPs like codeen but with posting?

    Hi, I am looking for a list like one offered by codeen http://codeen.cs.princeton.edu/ of fast reliable proxy servers.. I just want to be able to "post" on usenet or yahoo groups with them.. I think the codeen ones don't allow HTTP-POST I don't need them for downloading or for torrents, or even for any images.. they can block images to keep browsing faster. I know it's not a list, but I did try TOR once, but it was horribly slow.

    I'm fairly new to writing web services. I'm working on a SOAP service using JAXWS. I'd like to be able to have users log-in and in my service know which user is issuing a command. In other words, have some session handling. One way I've seen to do this is to use cookies and access the HTTP layer from my web service. However, this puts a dependency on using HTTP as the transport layer (I'm aware HTTP is almost always the transport layer but I'm a purist). Is there a better approach which keeps the service layer unaware of the transport layer? Is there some way I can accomplish this with servlet filters? I'd like the answer to be as framework agnostic as possible.

    I wrote a signal handler to catch FPE errors. I need to continue execution even if this happens. I receive a ucontext_t as parameter, I can change the bad operand from 0 to another value but the FPU context is still bad and I run into an infinite loop ? Does someone already manupulate the ucontext_t structure on Linux ? I finally found a way to handle these situations by clearing the status flag of ucontext_t like this: ... const long int cFPUStatusFlag = 0x3F; aContext->uc_mcontext.fpregs->sw &= ~cFPUStatusFlag; ... 0x3F is negated to put 0 in the 6 bits of the status register of the FPU (x87). Doing this implies to check for FPE exceptions after calculation.

  • How to exclude results with get_object_or_404?

    In Django you can use the exclude to create SQL similar to not equal. An example could be. Model.objects.exclude(status='deleted') Now this works great and exclude is very flexible. Since I'm a bit lazy, I would like to get that functionality when using get_object_or_404, but I haven't found a way to do this, since you cannot use exclude on get_object_or_404. What I want is to do something like this: model = get_object_or_404(pk=id, status__exclude='deleted') But unfortunately this doesn't work as there isn't an exclude query filter or similar. The best I've come up with so far is doing something like this: object = get_object_or_404(pk=id) if object.status == 'deleted': return HttpResponseNotfound('text') Doing something like that, really defeats the point of using get_object_or_404, since it no longer is a handy one-liner. Alternatively I could do: object = get_object_or_404(pk=id, status__in=['list', 'of', 'items']) But that wouldn't be very maintainable, as I would need to keep the list up to date. I'm wondering if I'm missing some trick or feature in django to use get_object_or_404 to get the desired result?

    Hi, I have made a facebook application for generating access_token. It's working fine except one problem with it's redirect url. Have set redirect Url : www.mysite.com/myfolder/ in my FB application. So it will work for all folders/files inside www.mysite.com/myfolder/ but I am having problem I want to use these urls for redirect: http://www.mysite.com/myfolder/index.php?mod=config&do=useradd http://www.mysite.com/myfolder/index.php?mod=config&do=useredit and it always redirecting me on: http://www.mysite.com/myfolder/index.php?mod=config which is wrong . Please help to resolve this issue.

    I am trying to put some images on my website that are hosted on Imgur but i only have the link to the Imgur page, not the actual image URL. For example, on this album the URL I am trying to get is this: http://i.imgur.com/csb9Q.jpg (I only need the first image) I have noticed that when the page only has one image, the image file name is the same as the URL address, for example: http://imgur.com/sYlGa & http://i.imgur.com/sYlGa.jpg So this isnt a problem. But for pages with multiple images, this is not the case so how can i get the image URL?

  • .NET Web Service Proxy is adding special characters in XML

    My web service proxy seems to be adding special characters like "*" and "#" etc. within the xml nodes. My proxy created lists using arrays of objects. I am trying to create a generic list and then doing list.ToArray() to set the proxy MyProxyObject[] object. Is this the cause of the problem I am having? I plan on running fiddler on the request later but it is over SSL and I do not have access to the URL at the moment.     Hi, I have a small home network with the router capable of running OpenWRT, is there some utility or firewall rule, which can be used to Wake On LAN on request. What I think - if I want to access my media centre (using for example SSH or HTTP) and it is suspended, is it possible to catch the ICMP packet (saying the machine is offline) and send the WOL packet to wakeup the machine and resend the SSH or HTTP request?     I've just started using selinux in the last 6 months and am getting to grips with it. However, using sealert on a new CENTOS 6 server, Im not getting the level of detail I was with CENTOS 5. To illustrate: Running sealert -a /var/log/audit/audit.log On CENTOS 5 I get: Summary: SELinux is preventing postdrop (postfix_postdrop_t) "getattr" to /var/log/httpd/error_log (httpd_log_t). Detailed Description: SELinux denied access requested by postdrop. It is not expected that this access is required by postdrop and this access may signal an intrusion attempt.     For example, if you want information of PHP functions, you can go to http://www.php.net/ . If you want information of Perl functions you can to to http://www.cpan.org/ and/or use perldoc. If you want information on Java you can go to http://java.sun.com and/or use javadoc. However, if you want information on Javascript methods/functions and their attributes, return values, etc. where do you go? The reason I ask is I was playing with the "focus()" method and wondering if it could be passed any values or if it returned anything when called. I tried following ways to refer it in a WSDL file but it doesnt work. 1) placed the xsd file in local file system and imported it as <xsd:import namespace="http://ws.test.com/" schemaLocation="file:///D:/wsdl/Foo.xsd"></xsd:import> 2) Placed the xsd file in web root folder and imported as <xsd:import namespace="http://ws.test.com/" schemaLocation="http://localhost:8080/Xfire/Foo.xsd"></xsd:import> When I run the client I get null for the fields of response object. But this works when I embed the type definition inside the WSDL itself. How do we specify the path to external xsds? I am using xFire 1.2.6 for generating webservices. Client is generated using xFire WSGen ant task.

    What is the quickest way to come up to speed on OpenGL ES 1.x? Let's assume I know nothing about OpenGL (which is not entirely true, but it's been a while since I last used OpenGL). I am most interested in learning this for iPhone-related development, but I'm interested in learning how it works on other platforms as well. I've found the book OpenGL ES 2.0 Programming Guide, but I am concerned that it might not be the best approach because it focuses on 2.0 rather than 1.x. My understanding is that 2.0 is not backwards-compatible with 1.x, so I may miss out on some important concepts. If one CPU has 4 cores (such as Intel Core i7 which comes in 2, 4, and 6 core versions: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intel_Core_i7#Core_i7), does that mean that the benchmark should be double that of the version that has 2 cores (assuming the same clock frequency)?

    I have a site running on Nginx (v1.0.14) serving as reverse proxy which proxies requests to Apache (v2.2.19). So Nginx runs on port 80, Apache is on 8080. Overall site works fine except that i cannot block access to certain directories with .htaccess file. For example i have 'my-protected-directory' on 'www.site.com' Inside it i have htaccess with following code: <Files *> order deny,allow deny from all allow from 1.2.3.4 <--- my ip address here </Files> When i try to access this page with my ip (1.2.3.4) i get 404 error which is not what i expect: http://www.site.com/my-protected-directory However everything works as expected when this page is served directly by Apache.     Hey guys I'm using Jquery flowplayer tools overlay to open external links. External links are working fine with this piece of code shown in the link: http://www.demiseonline.com/misc/Iframeoverlay.html Now using this overlay - I wanted to open the twitter dialog which asks users to Allow access to their account. So in the code below, I replaced http://www.google.com with https://twitter.com/oauth/authenticate?oauth_token=VPVRIsnRz9IX4CAab7brert3jHiEs <div class="apple_overlay black" id="Overlay1" <iframe src ="http://www.google.com" width="100%" height="595px" frameborder="0" </iframe </div When I replace the code, as soon as I load the page, even before I click on the link to open the overlay - the page gets redirected to the twitter URL. Any idea why that happens for this URL. Thanks

    In my XML schema I have an element being referenced tens of times by other elements but with different enumerated values for one of its attribute. For now, instead of creating this element in global space and referencing it later, I am creating a new instance wherever it is needed. This approach has increased my schema size enormously because of repeated creation of almost same element many times. It also may have adverse effect on efficiency of the schema. The only way that I see is to create element once and then reference it many times but my problem is: one of the attribute of this referenced element is required to have a different set of enumerations for each referencing element. My question is: Is it possible to to add an attribute to a "Referenced Element" in XML Schema?
