• NIC firmware version on my DL380 G5

  Hi all, I am trying to figure out what is my current NIC firmware version. If I run the latest firmware upgrade from HP, I get the following: It doesn't tell me the current version. If I try to check it from Device Manager, I get this: That's the driver version, not the hardware firmware version. If I reboot the computer, I don't see the NIC firmware during the POST.. How would I go about finding the current firmware version... Thanks a lot! Toast

• Disable the Taskbar in Windows 7

  Hi all, I got Windows Server 2008 and Windows 7. We need to run an application on certain computers with very restricted access to other windows functions. Is there a way to disable the taskbar for client users on W7 computers? I looked in the Group Policies but it's not there. Also, I am aware of Taskbar Eliminator, but it doesn't remove the Start button which is not good for me. Any suggestions are very appreciated. Thank you. Toast

• Windows Server 2008 R2 - Giving local administrator full rights to all folders

  Hi guys, Is there a quick way to give the local administrator full rights to all folders on the C drive? I am having really hard time with that, I try to give it full rights to some folders (user profiles) but I can't even modify the NTFS permissions in some cases, I get "permission denied" Is there some soft of tutorial or script that will just give the administrator full rights on all folders in the C driver? • monitoring services, CPU, memory remotely on a Windows server machine

  I'm looking for a tool that is able to (remotely) monitor CPU and Memory in a Windows server but most importantly, which service/process is using it. Or-- is it possible to monitor a specific running service? We got a server that freezes on regular basis and we're trying to find the culprit without using a local debugger. Would be great if the monitoring software came with an agent that we can install on the remote clients for maximum accuracy. Any suggestions are very much appreciated.
