• Macbook Pro 2010 Ethernet Jumbo Frame(9k MTU) Support?

  Has anyone been able to use jumbo frame support on their 2010 Macbook Pros? This is kind of negative news here, but I am seeing many reports that this is not available anymore due to Apple's choice of network card in the new machines. I cannot set my MTU speed over 1500 on my new 2010 MBP i7, but my old early 2008 MBP (Core2) has the 9000 MTU setting for use. Everything I have is setup to use jumbo frames and I thought apple kept that feature in their "pro" lineup. It sounds like the Mac Pro still has it. Did they decide to use a chipset that doesn't support it? I am trying to pinpoint some solid chipset numbers and the feature support. Maybe they just need to update the drivers? Is there some more official information about this feature? This might seem minor, but this is really frustrating if apple removed this feature from their pro laptop line. • How do you use more emoticons in Office Communicator?

  Is there any way to use emoticons beyond the default drop down list in Office Communicator 2007 R2? Do you have install them or can you just type in different codes? Is this even possible or are the defaults the only ones you can use? Anyone?

• Recording Interfaces for OS X that are supported/work well?

  For os x, I would like to know what other audio production/music recording interface type products people have found to work well with os x? I do not want to know about stuff that only works. I want to know about solid products that work well and are supported well by the company when issues arise. I for example have a M-Audio Firewire Solo recording interface. I have found M-Audio to be a company with great mac support for their products and they integrate well with os x features and apple software. Clarification: I am wondering about the recording interfaces themselves, as in the hardware, that are compatible with os x and supported/work/integrate well.

• Looking for simple windows scan (multiple pages) to one pdf application?

  I would like to find some simple scan software for a windows machine that can scan to pdf, but I would like it to do batch or multiple pages into one big pdf. I saw a couple questions on scan to pdf software, but did not see anything talking about scanning to large multiple page pdf's. EDIT: I am surprised there are not more options out there. Do many of the scanners/all in one devices come with included software that perform this function? EDIT 2: I tried Scan2PDF and it locked up on me multiple times in the middle of the scan job and then gave me non-english error messages. Otherwise, I liked how simple the app was, just select number of pages and hit ok. Any other success stories out there?
