• reduce timeout when connecting to wrong IP (XP-XP, windows explorer)

  I have many shortcuts in the form \10.0.0.123\path in Windows Explorer (XP). Some of the IPs are sometimes dead (those vmware machines that are inactive). The problem is, when I try to open "Properties" on such shortcut (to correct the IP, or to delete it), Windows Explorer freezes for minutes. For very long time. Start menu freezes, too. This is very inconvenient. How can I reduce the windows explorer timeout when it is probing the connection to another XP share ?

  Dear all, I have a TWO tables of data with following fields table1=(ITTAG,ITCODE,ITDESC,SUPcode) table2=(ACCODE,ACNAME,ROUTE,SALMAN) this my customer master tables that contains my customer data such as customer code, customer name and so on... Every Route has a supervisor(table1=supcode) and I need to know supervisor name in my table which both supervisor name and code exist in one table. table1 has contain all names separated by ITTAG. for example, supervisor name's ITTAG='K' also salesamn name's ITTAG='S'. • iphone - Regex for date in user entered textfield

  Hi all, Am a newbie to iphone programming. i have a input box and the user can write his DOB(mm/dd/yyyy) into the box. Before i save the data i like to test for valid input. I am using Regexlite.h and Regexlite.m.i have the regular expression too. i want to compare the regex to the user entered value in text box.But am not knowing how to do it.Please help. Any idea how to test for a valid date? (in .NET i use a simple regex but for the iPhone sdk i am a bit helpless) - but somebody must have been done this before... Thanks Viki
