I've got an older X25-M that doesn't support trim. If I image the drive, format it, then reimage it, would that restore it to roughly its original R/W speeds?

Hi, I know this might be hard question, but why does Intel 80486 and above CPUs have doubled 32 bit internal data bus? I mean, ALU is still 32bit wide, so what is that extra 32 bit bus for? Thanks.
